I found the ring on a lvl 8 speckaled rattler. they dont drop off mobs that are just in there teens

yeah..just /ooc in CL to loot one if no one needs. on my alt i let these rot alot. i ooc where its at and keep going.

Yeah ok, but I have accidentally deleted the initial ring. And now I am lvl 20 and the ring wouldn't drop any more for me... is there a way to still solve the quest? Help...!

I examined the ring and it does not give me the quest. It asked if I wanted to equip it, is that how the quest starts? You equip it?

If you have trouble with Fallen Crusaders near the ruins of Valmarr due to your level, go into Thieve's Way pat the Den of the Darkblade Assassin. There you can find low level Fallen Crusaders that count for the quest.

I as well witnesses 2 of these drops by the Tower of Zarvon from tortured souls. But chest were dropping like crazy over there anyhow.

The quest is more like 8~10 Crusaders not 10~15. I have done this 3 times in the last hour or so - I should have kept better count.
Anyhow it's a good ring and not too hard to get. It seems the starter ring is a rare drop off of just about anything in the zone. I got it off of the emerald beetles right by the gates and then on the complete opposite side of the zone off of one of thoe tortured souls.

Received the ring last night, was a drop from a Brokenskull Warrior.
Are there MOBs along the journey to the top of the tower? Is it soloable for a mid-teen sorcerer or do you need a group?

Upon placing the ring upon my finger I was overtaken by a powerful vision of a paladin falling to his death atop the tower of a castle's ruins. I am driven to visit these ruins. I feel I must face the souls of my vision.
I have found the tower in the ruins of Val'marr.
After crushing the cursed life from the undead crusaders I have released their souls.After finding a brilliant gold ring I was drawn to the ruins of an ancient castle, Val'marr. There I brought this ring that somehow caused an ancient spirit to awaken. I was forced to battle undead crusaders. I feel as though I have released their souls now.

This quest is initiated by examining the Ring of Val'marr. These drop randomly on mobs in Commonlands.
The first order of business will be to visit one of the tower's in the Ruins of Valmarr. To be exact you have to visit a specific tower, and climb to the top of it at location 549, -30, 202 .
After you have done this you must use the ring again to get the next step of the quest. You are asked to kill 10 Fallen Crusaders.
After killing the Crusaders you should examine the ring again. This will create your reward.
