Minnikin Folnor on Whisperwind Isle wants you to fly up to Cloudmist Isle in search of her lost key.
- Check piles of dirt on Cloudmist Isle until you get the key update.
- Search for a mob, The Ghastly Overcast. Upon killing it, The Gentle Breeze will spawn. A dirt pile will also appear behind The Gentle Breeze, loot it to get the update.
- Return to Minnikin.

I killed the named 2x and both times nothing spawned behind him. I was on my way to give up, heading towards the travel cloud, and I decided to again check the pile of dirt there. Low and behold, I got the update. The pile of dirt didnt look any different than my attempts at all the others.

Sure enough, this quest changed at some point, probably when they added more quests to this zone. I updated the walkthrough.. it's basically keep harvesting dirt piles until you get lucky enough to find it.
I killed the mob and the npc spawned. There was no rock to be harvested behind him. I even waited around, nothing. I even turned my graphics really up high and I still couldn't find anything. /sad panda =(

I've killed named several times, I could not find any pile behind him. Anyone got idea?

After going through tons of the general spawns of the piles of dirt, I was getting frustrated and stopped over here to see the quest.
Once I read about the Ghastly Overcast, I went and killed it again to turn it into the Gentle Breeze and wouldn't you know it, right behind it spawned a pile of dirt. Harvested the new dirt spawn and got my key. So this quest has changed.

After uncovering over 200 dust piles, I read the comment above and it was spot on.
You have to kill The Ghastly Overcast, and then it spawns the cloud breeze thingy. Behind the cloud breeze is a dirt pile that doesn't glow like the rest. It's the only one with the misty key.

I believe this quest may have been changed recently. I farmed more than 100 of these nodes with no results until I killed the Ghastly Overcast and looted the node right next to it. Perhaps this was just bad luck but this was not the case when I did this quest about a month ago on another character.

I spent at least an hour searching the piles, and finally found the key. I wasn't anywhere near the Gentle Breeze as previously posted. It is completely random.
