aye, his pets were just recently made to be the same level as him. It's no longer the real challenge it used to be.

I'm sure there are a number of ways to beat this encounter, so I will start by saying that each of those ways will require a 55+ enchanter. I am a 56 monk, so I use invis to get close. I show myself by casting tsunami, a 12 sec riposte where I am nearly immune to physical damage, followed with a group taunt. The chanter can mez the two friends either before or after the taunt. Pull the main mob down and then wack away. He has a nasty aoe so make sure he is stunned/stifled while he is in casting animation. Make sure you have enough dps to take him down before the friends become unmezzed because they are really nasty. 2 auto swings is a death for most people. One other way is to simply have chanter mez the group and pull the main with tank. The trickiest part of this encounter is their aggro range. Many times they came before we were ready so watch out.
