Some helpful facts and findings:

The pages have a respawn rate from thirty seconds to about a full minute. If you don't find a new spawn in 90 seconds or so, you overlooked it. If your clip plane is set low, you will have to approach the spawn points before you'll see the exclamation point over the spawn. I also found page 6 to be much rarer than the other pages, to the point where I had between five and ten copies of each other page before I found page 6. And lastly, the book itself is not no-trade although the pages are, so you can't share the pages but if you really wanted to, you could sell or give away the book. The spawn points I found are (all right side/left side of house directions are as you face the doors):

On the lawn near the front door.
Beside each of the two rocks next to Sighing Willow Pond (the ones nearest to the front of the house).
Beside the rocks on the hill behind the right side of the house. It's the rock outcropping near the tree that holds the bird cage.
Near the pots/baskets on the right side of the house, both the front and back corners.
Under the pot right beside the center door.
By the baskets near where Lai-fu is chopping wood.
At the back end of the long logs on the left side of the house.
Next to the tree that's up the left side hill from the woodcutters.
Two spots on the rocks up the hill to the left of the house.

There are also four points within the house itself. If you stand in the "foyer" area, you'll be able to open all three doors without moving, and you can see all four points from outside if you position yourself correctly.
One is on the table next to Zhen-hao Nurwin under the two small pots.
One is on the table near the tree, under the edge of the plate.
One is on the floor to the left of that table, among the pieces of broken pottery.
One is on the wicker dresser next to Kim Nurwin.

It took me roughly forty pulls to get all of the pages.
