Cait Sith Naoi: Lilisette and Portia are being held captive somewhere within these caverns, I'm sure. No mistake about it.
Cait Sith Naoi: Drat, a dead end! But we've already explored all paths...
Cait Sith Naoi: Hmmm.... Thayos. This ratstail explosive I picked up earlier... do you think that perhaps we could try...
Cait Sith Naoi: Nyaaaaa!
Cait Sith Naoi: What a nasty fright that was! Scared out of my wits! But it looks like the passage has been cleared up.
Cait Sith Naoi: ....
Cait Sith Naoi: Gnyaaaaaaaa!!
Cait Sith Naoi: PLAYERNAME! S-s-save me!
The bomb blows up.
Cait Sith Naoi: Has the situation been neutralized, PLAYERNAME? The enemy dispatched?
Cait Sith Naoi: ... All this excitement is positively bad for the heart. Nigh lost a life.
Cait Sith Naoi: But this has given me an idea! Lent me a thought! What if we used the bombs' penchant for self-destruction to our advantage and blasted ourselves a path through the cavern?
Cait Sith Naoi: Chances are we'll run into more dead ends further on in. But with some ratstail explosives, a handful of enemy bombs, and a sprinkling of ingenuity, the raod will surely be revealed to us! Open sesame!
Cait Sith Naoi: I'll entrust to you the remaining few ratstail explosives I chanced upon. A meager two.
Cait Sith Naoi: I'm willing to wager, though, that more can be had from the hostiles that haunt these parts.
Cait Sith Naoi: Not being fond of loud noises, I'll make myself scarce for a spell. Keep to the backstage.
Cait Sith Naoi: Off you go then, PLAYERNAME! Don't skimp on the fireworks now!
An extremely sturdy wall of rock blocks your path...
Cait Sith Naoi: Ack! Just when it seemed nothing would stop us! Even a dozen ratstail explosives detonated in unison wouldn't so much as leave a soot stain on the surface. Barely cause a scratch.
Cait Sith Naoi: But, hrmm? What have we here? Looks to be some kind of contraption for housing... jars of firesand?
Cait Sith Naoi: Ah! A memory returns to me! A recollection! Tales of abandoned quarries brimming with Goblin mining technology of ages past! I shan't bother you with the details, though it would make for good telling at a campfire.
Cait Sith Naoi: Hmmm, a fuse extends from the contraption to a place beyond the wall. What would happen, I wonder, if we were to place a jar of firesand in it. Set us up a bomb.
Cait Sith Naoi: Could it be that the fuse is connected to yet another detonation switch somewhere over yonder...?
