To celebrate its 20th birthday a special grey PlayStation 4 will be released.

Back on December 3, 1994, Japan was introduced to the first-ever PlayStation console from Sony Computer Entertainment. Despite a competitive market the console succeeded and has thrived through three more generations since.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the PlayStation launch, SCE will release a limited-run 20th Anniversary PlayStation 4. It features the original grey finish on both the console and dual shock controller and the classic PlayStation logo. Pre-orders in the US and Canada begin on Saturday, December 6th, so be sure to tune in to the Saturday morning PlayStation Experience keynote at 10am PT for more information!
