i kill orcs by the dozens but have not looted anything to finish this part of the quest.perhaps its broken.

Addendum: The "something" seems to be a random drop from any orc. I got it about the third time I killed a mog of two standing guard at an entrance. They were both gray to me by that time.

I think the explanation given here is confused with "Trials of the Soldier" as given by Sergius Mordanicus, also of West Freeport.

In actuality, Averus, Pt II is:
"... kill the living orcs(in Wailing Caves) until I find something to prove that I killed them in the caves."

So far I have killed at least 30 orcs in the caves of various levels and so far nothing.

This is the second in a series of four quests from Averus Justarius. Averus is standing near the execution area in West Freeport.

Averus asks you to kill living orcs in the Wailing Caves until you receive an auto-updating piece from them. After this you can return to him for coin and experience.

Averus has come up with a way to make even more money. I need to.

Stage 1

I need to. I need to find proof that these orcs are different than the ones in the Commonlands.

Start:	I need to kill the living orcs until I find something to prove that I killed them in the caves.
Complete:	I've found a badge showing a picture of both the caves and the word "Ree".

I've found a badge on one of the orcs. The Badge appears to be newly made and depicts a cave entrance with the letters R-E-E on it.

I've managed to find proof that there are living orcs in the Wailing Caves.
