I've found a rather fascinating volume, apparently by a researcher named Grelya Cook. It looks like a recipe book! I'm going to try to round up the various missing pieces to see whether any of her recipes are worth trying.

I have read this recipe. After all that, it wasn't a recipe book with elvish recipes -- it was a book about cooking elves! Disgusting! It did, however, make me kind of hungry.
