A journal was found in a pile of bones under the walk way leading into the hellish soot covered lands called Lavastorm. It appears to be the journal of an adenturer who fell victim to a magma wormling. The adventurer must have jumped into the local bay to escape.

Stage 1

The journal notes the adventurer found one of the "fabled" daggers having been owned by the one called McBlain.

Start:	Retrieve the dagger! Slay magma wormlings, until the dagger is found.
Complete:	After inspecting the dead beast I found, stuck in its scales, a broken dagger.

I have found one of McBlain's daggers. It looks to have been a beautiful dagger once.

I am still unsure who this McBlain really is but I have found what I think is one of his daggers. Broken and covered in soot I may be able to have it fixed.

This quest is initiated by examining McBlain's Journal, a small book in the water at a rock near the entrance of Lavastorm ( -143, -131, 610 ).

You must slay 15 Magma Wormlings in Lavastorm. After doing this you will receive McBlain's Dagger.

You can examine this item to initiate the McBlain's Broken Dagger quest.
