Rashad has sent me to search the crocodile caves near the beach for some sign of the missing treasure hunter. It is possible that the treasure hunter is dead, but we must know for certain.
I found the treasure hunter's body clutching a broken amulet.
I have returned to Rashad.I found the missing treasure hunter's body. He was clutching part of a broken amulet in his hands. Rashad says that it is the amulet we are looking for, but it is incomplete. We'll have to keep searching for the other parts.

Found the skeleton at -1131, -213, -551 but no update (as described) then went to the second location (-1192, -218, -832) and found the skeleton and got my update

Have search over one hour, can only found 2 skeleton on descript positions and get no quest update. This quest is stupid.

Found mine at -1239,-234,-832
Found a set of bones at neg 1190, neg 218, neg 624 but they weren't clickable..then found the 2nd set up above clickable for the quest. Right at the waters very edge on the left side near the rock wall.

I had problem with the quest as well, and couldn't get an update on any of the bones at the WP's listed. Also belive the WP that Xellent posted about IS in error and does not exist, as he suggested. I simply deleted the quest, picked it back up, and then got my update on the first set of bones I came across in the caves.

The Second /loc you have there does not exist, it is solid rock, ive tried all the skele's but that one, any ideas?

The treasure hunter update can be found at a couple of different piles of bones. I got it from bones at -1192,-218,-832 and my wife got the update from -1239,-234,-832. There were other sets of bones but not sure if they update for this quest or not. Next you have to go back to Rashad and he gives 3g and another quest "The Lonely Crypt"

Found a skeleton in the croc cave that was non-interactive before i got the quest, now i have the option to "search the bones" but nothing happens.... possible bug??

anyone know if the skeleton needed for this is on a timer? ive been sitting and staring at it all day and havent gotten the update><

look in the croc caves for skeleton corpses(mostly found near small lakes) with rocks and there you will proparly find it.

This quest is given by Rashad in The Sinking Sands ( -884, -105, -182 ) after you complete Ghassan the Traders line of quests, culminating with the Another Employer quest.
Rashad will send you to the Croc Caves to find some signs of a missing treasure hunter. This can be at one of the several skeletons in the Croc Caves, but it appears only one location works for each person. Known Locations:
-1131, -213, -551
-1192, -218, -832
-1239, -234, -832
-1192, -218, -624
After finding the explorer you can return to Rashad to open up The Lonely Crypt quest.
