While adventuring in Oakmyst Forest, I came across a peculiar grime covered acorn. After cleaning off the dirt I could see tiny runes carved on the husk that read, "Wounds of chaos encircle me. Invisible mouths murmur my curse. I curl to seed, fleeing the festering soil. Child of Elddar, free my corrupted shell... cleanse this thicket of the corruption." I feel compelled to free the souls of these corrupted dryads. The only way to free them is to kill them.

Stage 1

Corrupted dryads often hide in dark, dank places such as water-filled caverns.

Start:	I need to kill three corrupted dryads.
Complete:	I have killed three corrupted dryads.

I found the corrupted dryads in a secret cave by the waterfall in Oakmyst Forest.

I have killed three corrupted dryads and released their souls to be reborn in the renewal of spring. I am still not sure, however, as to how they came to be corrupted.
