Hides for Brianna  

Hi, the sinkhole near Thundermist works for the quest updates, but...When I completed the quest Brianna herself did not update. She just stood there: even though the journal read 'complete'.

Forget all what you have read in comment's quest. I have just completed the quest with no problem. You will see that I have put my class and level in. I wish all comment's to follow this sample. The entrance to the cave is not far from the Thundermist village. It's a small rock,or at lease the top of a hidden larger rock. It is on it's own, at the compass +567.64,-22.06,+159.85 The -22.06 is the depth below sea level. Forget about going north, where there is a Rumblers cave also, for you need higher lvl then mine to get there. Don't choose the Heroic rumbler, just the one below. Rumbler's are lvl 24 with points down. Come in, a group of three. That's it. Easy.

I followed the waypoint to the sink hole rock. From there I went into the solo instance of the rumbler caves, and was able to get all 15 updates without problems. Much easier than trying to fight the ones at the shore for me.

As stated the real rumbler cave is along the SW coastline. The quest seems bugged in that the the way point line leads to the sinkhole in the dead river basin. Now that the griffon towers are there take the one to coldwind point, then swim up the coastline. There is not alot of aggro in the water, some sirens, octopi, You'll see the rumbler cave along the beach, and a few laying on the sand. It's a ways to swim but it bypasses all the gnolls, giants and Skeletons. Rumblers were green/blue to lvl 28.

I tryed this quest as lvl 30 and cleaned almost 100% of the rumblers in the 'sink hole' solo instance... No update, no ding, no 'you didn't find any quest item' message... nothing. Any ideas?

I found the entrance of the "for real" Rumbler caves at +888.75, -18.86, +1205.05

Ok, I got confused with this for a few too. If you have this quest, you even get a waypoint to the instanced zone of the rumbler caves. I went in there at 30 & almost everything was grey, with some green. I didn't get any updates, so its not determined to be in that zone or a mob that gives xp.

I then went down to the giant plateau on the southern shoreline & tried those ones & they did work. This was funny, cause the ones on the outside, which were in the daylight, gave me credit ><

Something is indeed messed up on this quest atm, but you can at least complete it.

Okay if you follow the yellow brick road, it should lead to an area in the pass towards the direction where tarby is. You then click on a glowing item on the floor of the ravine that lets you zone into The Rumbler Caves. The non heroic version is the one that I did and every mob i killed gave an update.

This quest should be listed under Thunderins Steppes not Antonica.

Gave me quest without any prerequisites. Also waypoint to zone entrance.
