I could be wrong but from what I saw the roation is:rats - snakes - bats. Then it starts all over again.

Thanks for you notes Maria... but took your logic a step further...

Went to the room and found the snake. Killed it and decided to look around... Found 2 wretches in the room... one at loc -123.52, -156.51 and the other at -96.69, -181.49. These 3 spawn locations all have the same rotating cycle and could very well be the snake youre looking for. I stayed long enough to confirm that gloom snakes spawn at all three of these points. Hope this saves someone time. Good Luck!

I found only one instance of this mob at loc -137, -193 (right before the meat strippers and grinders). This mob is part of a spawn cycle with shrillers and wretches.

I have discovered a Far Seas Requisition slip. The hunter charged with filling the order must have been slain. It looks like this order was placed by Taskmaster Kozma in The Commonlands. If I hunt down the creatures and fill the order, I can deliver the order to the Taskmaster for a reward.

Stage 1

This particular order calls for six gloom snake fangs. The location listed on the order slip points to the ruins of Neriak, Fallen Gate.

Start:	Hunt gloom snakes for their fangs
Complete:	I've collected enough gloom snake fangs.

I've gathered all of the items on the requisition. I should turn them in.

Stage 2

Deliver filled FSR order to the Taskmaster at the crossroads in the Commonlands.

Start:	Find the Taskmaster at the Crossroads in the Commonlands
Complete:

I have delivered the items on the FSR to the Taskmaster at the crossroads in the Commonlands.

I filled the Far Seas Requisition and delivered the goods to the Taskmaster at the crossroads in the Commonlands. I have been paid in full for this work.

This quest is initiated by examining the scroll of the same name. The scroll is dropped rarely on mobs in the mid teens in Commonlands and Wailing Caves.

You are charged to kill the following mobs in the Fallen Gate:

6 Gloom Snakes (-137, -193)

Once these tasks have been completed you must visit Taskmaster's Assistant Koz'Ma at the Crossroads in Commonlands to collect the bounty (coin and experience).
