Looking Deep Within the Crystals  

We petitioned after having killed all the miners and the spiders leading up to the first main hall where the Life Leech is supposed to be spawned by killing the tentacle terrors, because we could not get the terrors to aggro (and therefore couldn't kill the Life Leech.) According to the GM that responded, the terrors don't aggro until you kill the Ry'Gorr Herbalist which is further along in the dungeon than the terrors are. This fun fact is something that has been referenced NOWHERE on the internet by those who have done this quest. Apparently, doing so will also collapse the wall standing between you and the second shard (blue shard) in the geonid area. I don't know whether the GM had it right about the Herbalist or not because our duo didn't have enough power to take the Herbalist down, but wanted to make sure to post this for those that are also trying this quest and didn't want to spend hours stuck trying to figure things out like we had to.
