I found the body of a dead othmir male. It looks like he died fairly recently. It is curious an othmir would be found this far from their camp with the Kromzek on the move. I wish to know more. Upon examining the body, I found a hunting spear. Perhaps someone back at Nipik's Haven will recognize it, know who this is and why they were out here.

Stage 1

I should ask around Nipik's Haven and see if anyone recognized the hunting spear.

None of the othmir in Nipik's Haven recognized the spear. Perhaps I should try the far side of the village.

Stage 2

I should keep asking about the spear in Nipik's Haven.

Surely enough, the deceased othmir's wife, Ann, recognized the hunting spear.

I found the body of a dead othmir male. I found it curious that an othmir would be found that far from their camp with the Kromzek on the move. I wished to know more, so I examined the body and found a hunting spear. I took it back to Nipik's Haven and asked around. Eventually, I found his now widowed wife, Ann.

You must have completed the quests in the Goahmari Village in Great Divide before the quest starter will appear for you.

Click on a dead othmir at either -853, -342, 3428 (west of Nipik's Haven) or -456, -445, 3713 in the Eastern Wastes to initiate this quest.

Ask othmir in Nipik's Haven about the Othmir Hunting Spear you found on the body:

Speak to Bao at -1217, -539, 3407
Speak to Mei at -1176, -534, 3341
Speak to Yipyip at -1211, -536, 3215
Speak to Ann at -1236, -539, 3153 , who will complete the quest.

In order for the The Dead Othmir to show up, you have to have completed the quest line in the Great Divide in the Goahmari Village through Wing Wranglin'. Talk about frustrating before I figured that one out...

The /loc for the dead othmir that starts this quest is wrong.

The dead othmir is actually at ( -456, -445, +3713 ), which is nowhere near the loc given here. Perhaps it was moved, I do not know.

I bet it was either moved or can appear in multiple locations. Will add that in, thank you!
