This guy was previously an Epic x2, level 55 mob. He is now level 60 and heroic. Recently, there are reports of Rahotep sometimes spawning as a 55 epic x2 still, so be prepared for the battle to go either way.

You need him for An Ancient Desert Power heritage quest.

He is a wave mob with 4 or 5 waves of 55 ^^^.

Killing each wave but the last, and rooting the last in order for your raid to regen is the easiest way to go.

Rahotep will try to regen to 100% health when he reaches 75% and 50%, so make sure to silence/stun/root him when he nears these health numbers.

I don't know what the deal is, but we just tried this tonight. The first waves were all 54 heroic mobs, not terribly difficult. We had a 63 guardian, 72 mentored fury and conjuror, and 58 warden, thinking it was going to be a heroic all the way.... Well, Rahotep's nasty little group spawned as a 55X2 epic once again, not the 60 heroic stated here. We actually came pretty close even so--unfortunately mistimed the stun when he was at 50% and he healed completely. I think it would have been doable by the group if that hadn't happened. But he's not necessarily going to be a 60 heroic. I saw somewhere else this happened to another group this year, so his spawn level seems inconsistent.
