Whole Lotta' Holes  

Update... I completed this quest today and it worked fine. So if the quest was bugged it has now been fixed.

I just petitioned this quest yesterday and got a reply from a GM today. The quest is currently bugged and there's no solution at the moment. I was told to keep an eye out in future patch notes.

The waypoint listed in Temple Grounds is no longer valid. I've been back there several times and it's not there anymore. Anyone complete it recently have a new waypoint?

help have tried reading the map and examing it nothing what am I doing wrong? how do I start the quest do I need to know avriak language?

Soooo did anyone notice the hidden messages in the quest steps?

Okay we are not 100% sure, but from what we recall with having done Burglars Afoot twice now prior to starting Intercepting Stones is that after obtaining the note and disc from Fippy's chest it was no longer highlightable to us.

However, this second time having finished Burglars Afoot and then moving onto Intercepting Stones through A Path Revealed was that following what Rintar posted below we went back to Fippy's chest after having recieved the Spiroc map and it was once again highlightable at which point "a map" was placed into our inventory.

I know though otherwise the Spiroc map is not doing anything when examined for us even after having talked to Lady Erillis first as buxs claims to have done.

So now having finished Whole Lotta Holes we still have the Spiroc map and it remains to do nothing. However, the flavor text in the completed quest part of the journal for A Path Revealed states "I should hold onto the map. It may prove useful later on down the road."

Anyway, as I said I am not 100% sure, but from what I can recall Fippy's chest was never highlightable until we finished A Path Revealed.

So if anyone else working on this can debunk or verify if we are on the right track with getting the Whole Lotta Holes starter from Fippy's chest prior to starting Mysterious Stones line please do so.

Examined the map from "a path revealed", nothing happened. Hmm.
Went to talk to lady Erillis in hidden refuge. She didnt say anything special, just offered her usual "in the name of Marr". Hmm.
Then I examined the map again, and surprise surprise, got the quest "whole lotta' holes".

i got the map that u examine for this quest from a chest west and north of the fallen temple on the breeding grounds isle.. the chest is behind some rocks and surrounded by broken eggs.. examine the chest and u get the map..

I got the quest starter from a chest on Breeding Grounds Isle.

Just so that it is noted, most of the "holes" are found directly across the zone from the cloud station, except for two. The one on Temple Ground is located SW of the cloud teleport to Bixie Isle and on the rock ledge overlooking the temple down below (where the stonesetters are standing on the temple). The other one is on the Vicious Breeding Grounds where you will find the "hole" just E of the Strongbox that's used in the Burglars Afoot quest. It's right by the same rubble of rocks.

Another little note is that I found the one on Bixie Isle by accident because I started forming a train from a see through sneak mob. That just about stuck 1/4 of the zone to me when I started running and went off in the opposite direction I was going in . Well, when I lost agro, I wound up way on top of the rock ledge and was peering down near the temple and found the "hole" down there behind a rock. Most of the "holes" were on the ledge of the islands. The ones found on Bixie Isle, Temple Ground and Breeding Grounds were on the grounds themselves and not on the edge of the Island.

Was kind of fun to look for these without any help... but have to agree that the reward was disappointing -- as I could have gotten the same reward (the Marrspin Tablet) by refilling the Humidors of Toxxilac, given by Surgeon Kweezil.

This quest IS NOT from the map from A Path Revealed. Instead, it is the map you get from killing the Soundless Guardian for Burgler's Afoot. The map from A Path Revealed, a spiroc temple map, still does nothing.
