The Cove of Decay - Reforming Stormsunder  

Does anyone know what the name of the placeholder for the windfeather is?

I too am at Cassondra and she has a red book over her head and my quest tell me to find Cassondra and I cannot get an update. I cannot petition as i have a petition that they are working on already.

OK, did this with my 70 ranger long ago and think I bugged myself. I completed Kraughl's Request and picked up Reforming Stormsunder. I also completed "The Adornment of Stormsunder" subquest from Cassondra. It shows in my completed log under Thund Step. I did NOT have Reforming Stormsunder in my quest journal, my guess is that on one of my rushes to clear journal space, I deleted it (probably didn't finish due to Incaleubis issues that everyone is having). I picked it up, killed the Banished and Incaleubis. I tried hailing Cassondra between those two - same I don't trust your kind either, cannot hail. Personally, I am nearly convinced that it is due to having completed Adornment. You cannot delete a completed quest, so I'm probably out of luck unless/until SoE responds to the bug by giving me the ding or just as easily and what I requested, delete the Adornment quest from completed journal.
Windfeather required no kills to spawn on four occasions over the past few days. Same with Incaleubis. First time I did not ever see the skeletal commander (if he is a PH, it is specifically a trip up that pops right next to the crossed logs and I see no indications of killing anything else being much of a help other than to kill time) The other times, the skel cmdr popped and killing him resulted in Incaleubis shortly thereafter.
Hope this helps and I will post an update related to my bug if I get it resolved.
P.S. I tried killing Windfeather without having being able to re-obtain Adornment, no update, no progress. Good luck folks.

Incaulebis the Maleficent spawned the instant I wiped the Skeletal Commander. It doesn't seem likely to be just a coincidence. He might be on a respawn timer as well though.

This is really very very boring, and a waste of time and money. Lucky for the people below that have managed to finish this quest. I cant however furnish this page with anymore info. I tried everything to get all three characters to pop... Nothing, not an electronic suasage! Shame I cant even get XP up while waiting around, IM a LVL 41 Coercer and nothing in these parts gives me any... Must be a better way!?

I believe Cazoshay must be right. If you have the inspiration to create 30 toons and do the same quests with them, you must know how things work.
Furthermore since the thundering steppes is an instance it is impossible that another player killed a placeholder. :D

p.s.: killed the mature hawks a few times and found windfeather (app 10min work)

okay... first of all... i suck

i waited for an hour for this mob to spawn... then i tried to kill all of the warlock orb's. after i killed about 8 of them in 5 mins..... Incaulebis the Maleficent spawned.

(For Incaulebis the Maleficent at -467, +851) I beleave that a skeleton Commander is the Place holder cuase he spawns in the same spot/coordinates for Incaulebis

Did this quest awhile back and as for Incaulebis, I didn't even touch one of those orb things. Only skeletal commanders and he spawned. And with Windfeather, I did kill anything, just sat there for like 20 mins and he spawned.

Ok, I just completed this quest as a 39 Monk with no problem. A few things:

1. I know some of you say there are no PHs for these nameds, and it may just be conicedence, but for Incaulebis the Maleficent, I just killed all the spirited orbs in and around Crater Lake twice. The moment I killed the last one, he popped.

2. On the way to kill Windfeather I found Cassondra and hailed her for a new quest that was linked with the access quest. To kill Windfeather.

3. For Windfeather all I did was kill the 4 crabs on the beach where he pops and the mature hawk that flies around there. Again the moment I killed that hawk, he popped.

4. For The Banished, I found him wandering around on the hill by +957, -1, +1079, while i was killing some giants/goliaths there. I dont know when he popped, I was just getting some other quests done while I was waiting on him.

Aye, same with me. I don't know what's wrong but I did what I was supposed to do, returned to Cassondra and she didn't want to talk to me. She said she didn't trust our kind. I thought all I had to do was build up my faction with the Great Herd so I got it up to indifferent and it didn't help at all. Dunno what the deal is. :(

Am I missing something? I killed the banished and Incaulbis then went to speak with Cassondrea but she says she won't talk to me so I can't continue quest now.
