This quest is initiated by examining the item "Rallosian Steel". This item is dropped from the Thulians, Thulian Magus, Huuptics or Constructs of Thule in Feerrott or from skeletons in The Cleansing of the Cove.
The quest involves three steps of killing fetid rallosians in the Feerrott (near the Tower of Vul) or The Cleansing of the Cove, to find a specific auto-updating piece from them: handle, wrap and strap. After you receive each piece you must examine the Rallosian Steal again.
After obtaining all three and examining the sword you are presented with your reward.

Skeletons in the graveyard work as well... Found this out when doing those little starter quests that range levels 5-10, lol! Took about 3 minutes to finish quest with no updates to it prior to start...

Dropped from a bitter bloom next to the camp of quest givers just inside the forest so it must drop from any mob in the zone.

I finished the entire thing in about 5 minutes clearing the orc skeletons in front of the Wailing Caves in the Commonlands.

As of Feb 4/06 I finished this quest, all 3 steps in Stormhold. Was helping a friend and started getting updates.

Found that TS revenant soldiers and commanders giving quest updates for it..
this quest is 40th lvl, that skeletons in TS (near Cove entrance) are 24-26 ^^^.. so, looks like exploit.. :)

I got this in a chest drop inside the Cleansing of the Cove instance. Also, the skeletons there appear to be able to update the quest: I haven't received an update yet, but I keep getting messages that I did not find anything after I kill each one.

You must log in or create an account to post messages.After a confrontation with one of the Rallosian skeletons I recovered the remnants of a Rallosian sword. I believe with a little bit of effort I can find the components needed to rebuild the weapon right here in the Feerrott.
I was able to find a replacement handle.
I was able to find a replacement pommel.
I was able to find a replacement strap.All of the effort put into restoring the weapon with the intended parts has really paid off. The Rallosian sword is truly a beautiful weapon.
