This is a Guide Quest. On Live servers it can only be received from a Guide. On Test there are no guides so NPCs exist there to give out the quests. Information regarding Starting Zone and Mob are from Test.

I met a gnome who is trying to manufacture a better light source. He requested my assistance in gathering some of the harvest material he needs to tinker up his experimental new recipe.

I need to harvest some raw materials from around the nearby area.

  1. I need to gather some tin for the gnome's recipe
  2. I need to gather some lead for the gnome's recipe
  3. I need to gather some elm for the gnome's recipe
  4. I need to gather some roots for the gnome's recipe
  5. I need to gather some rawhide leather for the gnome's recipe
  6. I need to gather some jumjum for the gnome's recipe
  7. I need to gather a frog leg for the gnome's recipe
  8. I should return to the gnome with the items I have harvested.

All of these items can be harvested in tier 1 zones. You must harvest to get the updates. After harvesting them all, return to the guide for your reward.

Reward

I assisted the gnome in gathering the material he needed to tinker up his experimental new light source.
