Keeping the Topside Safe  

Some more info: I hit this quest dedicatedly to get the linked 'Surface Assault' quest.

First 10 times: the choices were Varsoon guards and clat crawlers.

Second 10 times: Choices were the Varsoon disciples, clay guardians, servants of Varsoon, enchanted clays.

Third 10 times (in progress): Choices were forge stokers, claychanters, and forge sparks. Note, the forge stokers, though only popping one at a time with the smith, may /seem/ longer, the stoker will reset if you flee the smith. So far, my experience with the clatchanters is that they will not reset. As of this writing, I'm waiting on my first sparks pop.

The opening dialogue changes at each stage, though the resultant quest is the same. (Stage 3 bumps to a minimum 1g reward.) Yesterday, I /only/ did this quest, and my eq2players.com quest total went up by two, so you get a new 'credit' each time the stage changes.

got this as a lvl32 (i am lvl30) for 10 servants of varsoon

Definitely repeatable just keep deleting till u get monster of chocie also includes 10 claychanters or 10 thought engineers or 10 forger sparks or 10 thought engineers. never got varsoon disciples may be mistake as they are much easire than other baddies

The same quest gave me the task to kill 8 mindless brutes, and was a very dificult and boring task because there is only one mindless brute inside rov, just to the end of the map, lvl 34, surrounded by tons of lvl 33 agro mobs, and with a 10 minutes respawn timer. The reward is 36 silver pieces and about 3% of xp, imho an insanelly low reward for this toughness... Seeing the mob target is randon, i believe this quest is a repeatable one.
