After accepting this quest "Kazar And The Vial" , I was sent to get the vial from Crantik The Crazed (Troll) in Big Bend. He was in the open area by the gate to The Sprawl, after speaking with him, I went back to Stonestair Byway, spoke to Kazar and received 2% XP (at Lvl 11) and 12 cp.

I've met an Erudite at a tavern in Stonestair Byway. He insulted me and told me to get his 'foci' for him, as if I was nothing more than a simple errand runner! I'll get this foci for him... then break it.

Stage 1

Alchemist Irian is the one who is making the foci.

Start:	I need to speak with Irian.
Complete:	I have spoken with Irian.

Irian has told me that Kazar will need to wait.

Kazar was infuriated that his foci wasn't done. That was worth the effort it took to do this for him. I even got a few coins from it.

Kazar in Stonestair Byway will send you off on an errand, to speak to Alchemist Irian.

Alchemist Irian will then send you back to Kazar, who will reward you with coin and experience.
