I've spoken with Queen Amree's envoy within the Lesser Faydark, Duchess Maareanna and she's asked for my help in dealing with a corrupted treant named Bristlecone. I've been tasked with collecting twelve Faydark Amanita specimens to be used to help free Bristlecone from his corruption by the void creatures in the Shadowed Grove.

Stage 1

This task requires that I travel into the caves of the Lesser Faydark in search of twelve Faydark Amanita specimens. Duchess Maareanna has suggested that I look in the caves where the fungus men are, so I should start there. I'm still not sure what the duchess has in mind with all of these things but I'm sure she will explain it all soon enough.

Start:	Travel to the caves of the Lesser Faydark and collect twelve Faydark Amanita.
Complete:	I've gathered all of the Faydark Amanita for the duchess.

I've managed to obtain all of the Faydark Amanita that is required by the duchess. I should now return to her with these specimens.

Stage 2

I need to make my way back to Duchess Maareanna in the Lesser Faydark and give her the Faydark Amanita specimens she requires.

Start:	Take the Faydark Amanita specimens to Duchess Maareanna at the court of the fae in the Lesser Faydark.
Complete:	I've given the mushrooms to Duchess Maareanna.

I've given the duchess the Faydark Amanita mushrooms she needed, now I should speak with here again and see what the task she has for me now.

I've collected the twelve Faydark Amanita specimens for the duchess and now I must see what else she may have for me to do.

Been down the tunnel, killed the named at the end searched high and low but can not find the Faydark Amanita Specimens. Any clues out there?

I, too, am in the caves--same caves that I was sent to collect poisonous muchrooms for the Nybright guy. I have not found any Amanitas yet. 8-|

Okay, found them--Go to the Myconid Caves of Lesser Faydark and search out the nursery where the Lesser Amanita grow. The nursery is fairly deep in the tunnel, heading west/south around (456, -22, -224).

The tnrance to the cave is behind the waterfall. You can climb up from the river or walk around on the left side.
There is a short cut if you drop into the hole at 248.00, -52.00, -176.00. However, if he is there, you will land directly on the head of Melanog (heroic 59^) in thr middle of a pool surrounded by fugutrs (59-60 no arrows). Two or three of them will most likely attack.

Well I have been all over the bottom of the cliffs...over the tops of the treetrunks...up the sides and can not find the way upto or into the caves. Followed the /way and see the entrance...but no way to get there. Anyone have a clue as to how to do that? Thx)

Found the answer finally. There is a well that you go down to get into the tunnel that holds the fungus...entrance is located at 175, -31, -402. Beware tho...some of them see thru invis.

Duchess Maareanna asks you to get 12 Faydark Amanita Specimens from the caves to help cure Bristlecone the treant. Faydark Amanina Specimens are a ground spawn found deep within the Myconid Caves.

Go to the Myconid Caves of Lesser Faydark and search out the nursery where the Lesser Amanita grow. The nursery is fairly deep in the tunnel, heading west/south around ( 456, -22, -224 ).

Completing this quest opens up "Unbinding the Suffered".
