You can gather the shrooms while invis, so no group needed.

I can confirm that you CAN gather the mushrooms while Invisible. They are located at -74 / -380 in the room with the shroom nurturer at the back of the zone. There is a tunnel that leads down to it near the end of the river that dead ends in the grate.

They are the taller thin shrooms and will highlight when you mouse over them. They bring up a message "Gather a XXX mushroom". I was hesitant to do so as I assumed it would trigger my gather ability and drop invisi but it DID NOT.

So. . . If you can get here unseen with your invisi you are fine. Be careful of a see invisi doglike mob that wanders near the SW entrance to that room.

That fool Rooleean doesn't know the ritual to destroy the void crystals, but he has told me that Grand Master Lu Sun at the Wu encampment in the Lesser Faydark would know the ritual. Apparently, Lu Sun spent many years of his training studying under the priests of Tunare. I guess he really wanted to get in touch with nature and have a love of things that grow. It's very odd for a monk to train under such priests, but through my travels here on Norrath, I've seen far stranger things.

Stage 1

I need to travel to the Wu Encampment in the Lesser Faydark and speak with Grand Master Lu Sun. According to Rooleean, Lu Sun should have the information needed to destroy the void crystals.

Start:	I must journey to the Lesser Faydark and seek out Grand Master Lu Sun at the Wu camp.
Complete:	I've spoken with Lu Sun and now I must complete another task for him.

I've spoken with Grand Master Lu Sun at the Wu encampment in the Lesser Faydark and he's given me a task to obtain a few items to complete the ritual to destroy the void crystals.

Stage 2

After having met with the Grand Master monk Lu Sun, he has told me that in order to complete the ritual needed to destroy the void crystals and return the blessing of Tunare to the orb, I'm to collect a few components that will be needed. I've been tasked with obtaining ten worthy gloom mushroom specimens from the ancient dwarven city of Kaladim, one piece of bark from the Great Tree in Lesser Faydark and the very orb itself that's currently being defended by High Priestess Arloona in the Lesser Faydark.

Start:	I need to gather ten gloom mushrooms from Kaladim.
Complete:	I've collected the ten mushrooms needed for the ritual.

Start:	I need to gather a piece of bark from the Great Tree.
Complete:	I've taken a small piece of bark from the Great Tree.

Start:	I need to speak with Arloona and see if she will part with the orb.
Complete:	Arloona has trusted me with the orb and I must now safe guard it with my life.

Now that I've obtained the orb of Tunare, the ten gloom mushrooms and the piece of bark from the Great Tree, I need to take these to Lu Sun and get the final component needed for the ritual.

Stage 3

Now that I've collected the things Lu Sun requested, I can return to him to obtain the final component needed for the ritual. I should head to the Wu encampment were Lu Sun meditates and speak with him once more.

Start:	Take the items you've collected to Lu Sun and get the final component.
Complete:	Lu Sun has trusted me with the arcane words needed to complete the ritual.

Lu Sun has deemed me worthy of his trust and has given me the final component needed for the ritual that will destroy the void crystals and return Tunare's blessing to the orb. I should take these components to Rooleean since he has the void crystals and appears to have some ties to the arcane. I hope he's still at Spire Shadow Post in Greater Faydark.

Stage 4

Grand Master Lu Sun has placed his trust in me by giving me the incantations needed to complete the ritual to destroy the void crystals forever. Having all of the components needed to complete the ritual, I should now journey to Rooleean to see if he can complete the ritual to destroy the crystals.

Start:	Take the components you've gathered for the ritual to Rooleean in the Greater Faydark.
Complete:	I've delivered the components to Rooleean to see if he can complete the ritual.

I've given the components needed to complete the ritual to Rooleean and now I must talk with him to complete the ritual and destroy the void crystals.

I've completed a task for Lu Sun, earning his trust and faith in my ability to complete this quest. He has given me the words needed to complete the ritual and destroy both of the void crystals.

This quest starts in Greater Faydark by talking to Rooleean Felodaan once you have completed "The Hidden Crystal". Rooleean wants to destroy the void crystals, but he does not know how. He sends you to Lesser Faydark to visit Grand Master Lu Sun, at 782.11, 111.55, -278.19 . He tells you that there are three things you must do before you can complete the ritual. You must:

Collect 10 Gloom Mushroom specimens from Kaladim. These are clicky mushrooms in a room with many Mushroom type mobs toward the back of the zone -75, 26, -377 .

Collect a piece of bark from the Great Tree in Lesser Faydark. -238.04, -57.74, -381.45

Talk to Arloona Delyssa (Also at the Great Tree, -242, -57, -384 to see if she will release the Orb. After talking to her, she gives you a Weakened Orb of Tunare.

After completing these three tasks, return to Grand Master Lu Sun in Lesser Faydark. He gives you a scroll of ancient scripture with which the incantations can be completed, and sends you back to Rooleean in Greater Faydark.

He asks you for the components, completing the quest and opening up the next one in the line, "A Predestined Fate".
