It is a great surprise that the missing gnolls were alive and were strong enough to make it back to the Snowfang gnoll camp. But they are very weak, and without the lesser ice shades to stabilize them, they are growing weaker and weaker. They need medical aid and food, and I am just the hero to get it for them.

Stage 1

I must kill Iceclad sleeper sharks for their strong meat and gather arctic sea flowers for their strange medicine. They should both be beneath the ice south of Snowfang Isle.

Stage 3

I should feed the freed Snowfang gnolls the medicated shark meat. They are on Snowfang Isle. When I am done I should return to the Snowfang shaman, Mirna Greatfrost.

I have fed the freed Snowfang gnolls the medicated shark meat and then I returned to the Snowfang shaman, Mirna Greatfrost, on Snowfang Isle.

Speak to Mirna Greatfrost at -941,-519,-2145 on Snowfang Isle in the Great Divide to begin this quest.

Arctic Sea Flowers

Head south of Snowfang Isle and swim beneath the ice to around

Gather 4 arctic sea flowers in the water underneath the glacier around -933,-565,-1977 . They look like upside down lava blossoms. The sharks are in this area and are extremely aggressive.

You can also get the sea flowers under the glacier around -1025,-569,-1989 . This area is a bit safer from the shark swarms.

Kill 4 iceclad sleeper sharks in the water around where the sea flowers are

Speak to Mirna
Hail the freed Snowfang gnolls around the camp to feed them
Return to Mirna to complete the quest

Game Update #63

April 17, 2012

You must be at least level 90 to be offered this quest.

Speak to Scout Master Kilkarn at -1720, -598, -1235 at the Combine Caravan to begin this quest.

The three scouts are found right next to the Scout Master. Speak to one scout at a time as only one can follow you. They will become a standard level 90 NPC that follows you and must be present when their tasks are being done. You have 10 minutes before the scout with you will go away. The mob will likely have to hit you at least once before the scouts will assist in the fight.

Scout Kiosha: Kill 5 corrupted fawns in the nearby forest for meat.
Scout Leluh: Kill 5 raptors, such as the corrupted withertalon lurkers perched on rocks in the Waning Forest. The non-corrupted Withertalons around the Withertalon Brooding Caves do not count for this quest.
Scout Mayak: Kill 5 corrupted mist panthers from the surrounding forests. Only roaming ones updated this quest for us.

Return to Scout Master Kilkarn to complete the quest.

The fawn will have to attack you before Kiosha will assist in combat. If he doesn't assist you, you won't get the update.
