Quest Giver: Whittier

Step 1. Find a clickable log. It's next to the Sapling Spur. Click it to spawn 2 crystalline beetles that you must kill.

Step 2. Find a clickable root. It's south of the Tunare's Sapling lift. Click it to spawn 2 bark beetles that you must kill.

Step 3. Find a clickable mushroom. It's close to Tunare's Sapling, north of the lift. Click it to spawn 2 blue tunnelers that you must kill.

Step 4. Hail Whittier.

Reward: Whittier's Splinted Breastplate and at least 1 silver 70 coppers.

Leads to "The Greater Faydark", a quest to locate Mentha Haora near the Combine spires.

Whittier is a Quest NPC. One of the rite of passage quests leads to the quest Where's Whittier. All you do is find Whittier and you get a nice ring. Whittier then gives out the quest Whittier's Wisdom, which leads to the quest Wasps Up, which leads to the quest Extermination. There may be more, but I'm stuck on Extermination - I've not been able to locate any clickable logs.
