A Frightful Feast  

All the items except the Coffee spawn and are usually up or down within a few minutes.

All the items go into your inventory, which is odd.

Also, all the items dissappear when you take them...

There are at least two locations for each item. Just because its not up in one place does not mean it will be up in another....meaning, there is a high degree of probability that you will be waiting for more than one item for over an hour.

This is perhaps the worst quest in EQ2 and maybe the worst one in terms of its design.

All the items are small and VERY easy to miss. The are dull color as well. You CAN highlight the items, but you have to be withint a few meters to actually pick them up....people have trouble with the soup on the rock. You can climb up that rock like the poster said.

The one item you will have problems with is the coffee. I am currently waiting and have tow characters waiting for this item. It just does not spawn and seems to be on a much longer timer than any of the 5 other items.

I found the wine on the building with the oily wall. Go up, run across to the corner of the location specified, but drop down to the ledge below, not all the way to the bottom, but the ledge.

Wine: On top of the building across from the Oily Wall. There are gnoll excavators up on top, but it looks like a wine bottle, as it should.

Meat: Next to the pool of slime, right next to the building where you can find the Wine. It looks like a huge wooden bucket with.. rotten meat inside. I later saw this again behind the pillar by the Explorer Door right there by the slime pool.

Coffee: Very close to Phara`tal concoction building in the corner. (The building isolated by the snake pit.) I found a glowing-green beer mug of Spoiled Coffee at -547 x +458.

Cheese: Please tell me where you found this. I will confirm the location if I find it.

Eggs: Sitting next to the tree with the Eternal Falcons (it only makes sense.)

Soup: Under aquaduct. If it's not under the aquaduct, it may actually be up on the rock by the explorer house.
Underneath the aquaduct on the north side of the path. Slightly uphill from the road.

Yea. This game sucks. Not only cant you figure out these quests on your own, gotta come here. But then you have to wait for stuff to spawn. Like some timesink monkey. whats the point.

after that i died.
i've pretty much had enough of these stupid quests

Can anyone confirm that spawning Orus'Dakh is not busted? I had all the runes in my inventory. In fact I had 2 of them all but the Orus one. When I clicked Examine and starting putting the runes in, it only took the Orus and kan and wouldn't let me place the others. He didn't spawn :(

I think the walkthrough is wrong about one location for the soup. It has -391, -10, 477 listed, but that is at the base of the tree, which is a spawn point for the eggs. Instead of that one, the correct spawn for the soup is -321,7,350. This is on a boulder as one of the other posters mentioned.

think I may have stumbled onto something. the following worked for me on the wine after accidentally discovering it on the coffee

first it is very important to pass by very close to the spawn spot to get some action.

the second involved using both spawn points, the coffee wasnt spawning for me by the snake pit and it wasnt up top on the ledge either. but i was only popping my head up over the ledge to look and jumping back down. I finally scoured the ledge area and while i still didnt have any luck, when i went back to the snake pit, after a few mins, the coffee materialized.

I then used the same trick for the wine, having camped the ledged area earlier at (-300, 17, 416) for about 30 -45 mins it never spawned, this time i went to the second spawn location, it wasnt there either but I made sure to go over the spawn point rather than just glancing down the ledge and turning around. I went back to (-300, 17, 416 ) and just a few mins later it spawned.

maybe dumb luck or maybe something, hope it helps

ok all im seeing is little purple boxes that i cant interact with at the locs where the items are suppose to be. this happen to anyone else.

I found my soup at -355.13, -8.91, 373.02

Don't know about Vladnor but soup doesn't spawn at -391, -10, 477. It spawns where Feonyx says. At -354, -8, 370.

As posted below Soup is at -354, -8, 370 NOT at the one listed above in the quest right up... its to the left of the climbable wall on your way to exit.
