The 'ruined tower' is what looks like a broken Griffon tower, near the bridge by Neriak entrance.

Ilmtar D'Viervs explained that in the past people have attempted to build upon the Field of Ruin, but invariably they are driven off by the undead, often leaving their materials behind. Ilmtar wants me to go collect some of the wood that has been left behind.

Stage 1

Ilmtar D'Viervs wants wood from the Field of Ruin.

Start:	Collect pieces of wood for Ilmtar D'Viervs
Complete:	I have collected the wood

Start:	Bring the wood back to Ilmtar
Complete:	I have given Ilmtar the wood

I have brought Ilmtar the wood he wanted.

I have brought Ilmtar the wood he asked for.

Ilmtar D'Viervs asks you to collect six pieces of discarded wood left lying around the Field of Ruin.

The wood is found all around the ruined tower at -377, -46, -74 . They become harvestable when you have the quest.

Return to Ilmtar when you are done.
