This quest can be completed as either an adventurer or crafter. You must help Researcher Aillena retrieve or replace her elemental resonance device. If you're over level 85 in both crafting and adventuring, take your pick. Both are easy.

Crafting Option:

Scribe Elemental Resonance Device. The recipe is level 90 and uses Geomancy. Craft the Device using one each Titanium Ore, Quicksilver Cluster, Amber, and Ethereal Coal at a Work Bench.

Adventuring Option:

Kill the Strifewing pilferer ( -126, -82, -252 ) that took the device. Take the cloud platform to Isle of Discord. Go to the area marked on your map, west of the Isle of Discord cloud platform, and you'll be jumped by the plunderer in question. The Elemental Resonance Spectrometer is in the chest he drops.

Return the Spectrometer to Researcher Aillena on Cloudmist Isle and hail her for the next quest.

I met with researcher Aillena, a conjuror specializing in the study of the elements of air. She was happy to meet me, but needs my help in retrieving or re-creating a particular device that she needs to teach me. She has told me where to find the creature that stole the device; or alternately, she has given me the recipe she used to create it in the first place if I would rather do that.

Stage 1

Aillena explained that the device she needs to study the elementals was stolen. I will need to either retrieve it from the Strifewing pilferer on the Isle of Discord, or craft a replacement.

Start:	I need to re-create the device or retrieve it from the Strifewing pilferer who stole it.
Complete:	I have the device that Aillena needs to study the elementals.

Stage 2

Aillena is in the Barren Sky on Cloudmist Isle.

Start:	Bring the device back to Aillena.
Complete:	I brought Aillena the device she needs to teach me.

Researcher Aillena needed me to use a particular device to study the elements of air. Unfortunately, the device had been stolen by some aggressive vultaks from an isle nearby. She asked me to either retrieve the stolen device or craft her a new one, which I did.
