2. wait for the respawn,,, about 10 minutes
3 . a single forge ember appears (and, no, killing the ember and running away will not respawn a new ember. i tried that too)
4. keep the room cleared
5. read a book while waiting
6. back to line one until done
7. stupid PITA quest just for a book!

Picked up this book today as a level 29. The quest offered was level 32.

Confirmed respawn trick for Forge embers does still work. Takes about 3-5 minutes for them to pop if you only kill the ember and then either run or feign death. Had them all four within 30 minutes doing this.

The Ember will also respawn when you use feign death.
If you don't have feign death but Chamber of Immortality Access, flee into there, then zone back out. It's just around the corner.

Forge sparks are placeholders for forge embers. They are only available in one single location in RoV (glowing rockpile north west of tome of death).
Kill sparks over and over until ember and sparks pops. Then do as described erlier among the posts...
1) kill the ember
2) run away (back door to TS is a good spot) without yelling
3) return and ember has repopped
4) do over 3 times and youve got all your embers

Ok change my previous comments, I hadn't had my coffee yet. Anyhow if you kill the ember and run off the sparks it will bring up another ember upon returning. Tried it out today and it worked.

i'm up to the Forge Embers, and i'd like to make some updates/changes, currently it doesnt read like the walkthru says, here's whats in my quest book thus far:

Just finished the quest, and got 3.8% exp at level 41. I don't think that's too bad for spending hours and hours killing grey mobs.

I can confirme that,they seem to be rare spawns and the sparks placeholders.I used the tactic below,it worked fine for me

Forge embers pop in the same spot that the sparks do, but they seem to be pretty rare. My advise is once you get an ember to pop - kill it, then run and break the encounter (you still get quest credit for the ember, as long as you kill it before breaking the encounter). Once you've run far enough the encounter will reset, the ember will be back...rinse, repeat.

When i recieved quest the book was alwasy there no timer and it said it was lvl 30 not 20. mabey it's a typo in game.

I've waited by this bed forever... but its never there. What is the timer on this book? I've had it before but i deleted it in my younger days to make room figuring i could just go get it again like you can with other books. I even deleted old quest thinking that had something to do with it.. Is it bugged or am i unlucky? or is it a really long timer?

After killing the 4 Forge Embers, you must kill 8 more Clay Guardians, then the quest ends.
You receive the Blood of the Bear book to place in your apartment. No xp, and no stats on the book.
I can only assume that after completing all 3 books, there must be some reward.
