I had to kill several spawnings of three groups of 3 around the druid rings to get my 6.
The raiders share the spawns with infiltrators and pillagers 5/25/08

This quest is initiated by examining a "Broken Conscript Shield". This shield is dropped on monsters in the Feerrott, and is tradeable.
The first thing you must do is obtain a skin from the Toxic Water Skaters in the Feerrott. After doing this you should examine the shield again.
The next step is to obtain 6 fragments from Tae Ew Raiders ( -553, -3, 889 ) and a perfect Thule Sattar wing. After obtaining these, examine the shield again for your reward.

The steps are as above but you do not need to examine the shield to get the quest reward. It now auto updates. Also you DO need the sattar wing as well as the Tae Ew raiders

I just completed this one, and got the reward after killing the 6 Tae Ew raiders and examining the quest starter a final time. No perfect Sattar wing required.

Quest is now updating. Takes awhile to get the thule wings, but you will eventually.

Skaters along the N-S river, just coast thru river and you will find em.

You have to kill the skaters in the pond that are 4 of them between lvl 32 and 38 depends on the spawn. those are the only one that will work.

Finally got the update after killing many toxic skaters. The quest does say that you have to find the right one.... Four skaters spawn fairly regularly at Clurg's pond (SW corner of zone).

Didn't get updates saying i didn't find item either when killing toxic skaters but eventually got an update saying i did find it.

Im at the last part on this quest and i cant seem to find the Tae Ew Raiders. Could someone plz tell me what these are and where to find them because im just not having any luck. Ive must have killed 5k different lizard men out in feerrot since ive had this quest and nvr seen them. Im killing the lizardmen in hopes that i get a tattered robe.

This quest was recently changed in a patch:
Prior to the patch, you needed the Toxic Water Skater skin, then harvest a rhodium, which I never obtained and never planned on wasting for a shield (I'm a Mystic). After the patch stated the quest was fixed, I reexamined the quest starter and was given an entirely new quest. The other one that required the rhodium was still up. The second, and newest, version required the Water Skater Skin again, and then a perfect Sattar wing and six fragments from Tae Ew Raiders that were previously mentioned. Once that was completed, I reinspected the shield and got the Shield of the Conscript. The original quest remained and was just deleted out my book.

The version Sava talked about is old version. Required to harvest rare gem (rhodium), and it is bugged, even u finally get lucky to harvest that, u wont get update. (already talked in offical forum), so the designer changed the quest

Not sure if they changed it after last patch but after Skaters I was required to Harvest a piece of Rhodium in Feerrott. Not Kill raiders ad Sattars.

You must log in or create an account to post messages.I've recovered a shield worn by one of the ettin conscripts for the Evol. The straps are ruined and there is a large crack in it, but the shield still has incredible characteristics and, if possible, it should be repaired.
It took me a while, but I finally found a toxic water skater whose skin matched the straps found on the shield.
Now that I have found everything I need, I can complete the shield's repair.I've repaired the broken shield I found and turned it into the Shield of the Conscript.
Stage 1
The remaining straps on this shield are very serpentine. Other than the metallic sheen they resemble the skin of the toxic water skaters in the Feerrott.| Start: | Find toxic water skater skins that match these straps. |
