Your "class preceptor" refers to your class master in Protectors Hall. If you talk to one of the other three they will simply suggest you talk to your master.
The reward choices you are offered depends on your Archetype.

Later on in life, as you raise your Alts, you can hand down the Daevanion pieces you have outgrown, eventually granting your fifth Alt a full set. Some pieces can also drop from Bosses in some instances, so you may be able to trim a little time off your path to the full set. To change a piece of Daevanion armor from one type or piece to another, talk to Sibylla in the Lyceum. You will also need Daevanion's Light (PW/AA), which can be purchased from Perena or Ophenes at Caps and Straps on Divine Road for a mere 60,000
