| OH and MH suffer the same exact 24% miss chance when dual-wielding. The OH proc penalty is a figment of your imagination as well. Most instant attacks that warrior and rogues do hit with the MH, and these special attacks have the same proc chance as your white swings. Yes, I know it's PPM b | ||||

| For efficiency, nothing will beat a frost AoE spec. A fire AoE spec will give some decent damage. And nothing converts mana to damage faster than an Arcane spec. As you've said, all three have AoE potential. I would suggest the mage consider whether they want more efficient AoE, greater burst | ||||
