Oculus Connect: Developer Conference
If you live for VR, mark your calendar for a two-day conference coming this September.
VR is incredible, and it's only going to grow. And what's one sure sign you're growing? Having your own conference, of course! Oculus has a new annual event, Oculus Connect, a two-day event for devs and passionate fans to discuss everything VR. So what can we expect from the fall affair?
Reveals: Attendees will "be the first to learn about upcoming Oculus technology."
Keynotes: This year will feature "Brendan Iribe (CEO), Palmer Luckey (Founder), John Carmack (CTO) and Michael Abrash (Chief Scientist)."
Hands-On Feedback: "...receive design and engineering feedback directly from the Oculus team..."
The event is open to the public, but Oculus does stipulate that it is a "developer-centric event" with limited attendance. Everything takes place September 19th-20th, at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood, CA. Attendee applications are available starting tomorrow, July 10th. No worries if you can't attend, as the keynotes will be livestreamed.
Wherever you are, it'll be great to hear more from Oculus – and perhaps we'll finally learn more about the first retail version of the Rift. Fingers Eyes crossed!
