Nothing impressive here, mainly a comeback from about 2k points behind on Shores of Time so far.

so my best ib moment, i barely remember it, it was one in year 1 on firebase delph i was in a losing streak, already have 5 medallion, the game was pretty close we were losing by 1000 point the game almost finish, heavy spamming, so i grabbed it and take out my jolders hammers after that i say time for a come back and go direct to the enemy heavy, take one, two, three one of them throw me a rocket (thanks god it doesnt have G&H) almost hit me, super up, activate my golden gun i now they will be spamming on c, i go to the c window and i see 3 enemies, one, two, three all down then i see the score and ............. we won i cant believe, ijust stop there and start dancing, finally i won, it it was one of my fun and epic moments

So mine its pretty short but makes my laugh everytime i remember. Was on my Stormcaller playing Control on Vertigo with some friends and the game was pretty close, one on the other team start to capture C flag and i went to try to stop it and while i was getting close i realise that the whole team was going to the flag and would provably going to win if they all capture it; so i jump in anyway and use my super(landfall) and deny the capture killing everyone and winning the game but procede to fell outside the map cause i kept going in the air....of course a couple of my teamates that were coming behind me start T-baging me while we laugh until the rewards screen.

There i was as my stormtrance warlock, my team had been having a few bad games but none of us quit, we knew this was the one. The score was 9875 to 9110 my super had just charged and I was ready to go. I swooped around a corner and jumped to get above the two tangos, I popped my super and since I had landfall I killed them both. Went on to kill 5 more getting a phantom medal and a 7th column medal racking up a total of 9995. With only needing 5 points to win we all clinched our buttcheeks hoping to get a kill, but like a whirlwind of fury they picked up two kills and won. I was speechless for the next 30 seconds, after I came out of shock I immediately shut down my ps3 and took a minute to think about life, before turning it back on and getting back to enjoying time with friends.

I apologize if the following isn't very "heroic". I am no performer of great feats nor comedian that entertains the masses. But what proceeds is my legend, my tale. My most memorable Iron Banner experience to date.

In the Tower, there echoes a legend. A legend held dearly by the Iron Lords that tells of a Guardian. A Guardian who, done with the battles he once waged across time, embarked on a journey. A secret and personal journey.

A journey in search of a beloved and invaluable weapon. A weapon with whom he parted ways with after a certain expansion made that weapon unserviceable.

Timur's Lash. To many it was simply just "another hand cannon".
There were better options people would say. Nobody wants a max-impact hand cannon. When fighting other Guardians you want The Last Word, Thorn, or Hawkmoon. If you were fighting back the Darkness, Fatebringer would still guide you through many battles even though it too was unserviceable in high-end content during the days of The Dark Below.

But of those weapons I had none. No Thorn to shove in other's sides, no Hawkmoon. The gold details of The Last Word shined as dull bronze to my eyes. My only friend was Timur's Lash, and Timur's Lash was all I needed. But as mentioned, the newest expansion had made that weapon unserviceable. I tried many months to move on, but I couldn't. I couldn't leave my friend behind, but I couldn't stay behind with my friend.

So I began my journey through the Iron Banner and down the path of RNG. Lord Saladin had not brought a renewed Timur's Lash for me to purchase, but whispered that I might earn one through perseverance in the heat of the Crucible. Long were my nights and dark were my days. Timur's Lash was nowhere to be found through my endless struggles in the Iron Banner. Through Rank 3, through Rank 4, nothing.

And so arrived dawn of the final day. The Monday before reset. I set aside even more time that day to pursue that which I desired. If the past week meant anything, I would certainly need that time.

I was approaching Rank 5, a mere game away from it. It didn't matter, I thought, but a win certainly couldn't hurt my chances to receive a renewed Timur's Lash. And so I fought. I fought hard. By luck or by skill I know not, but I won. I hit Rank 5, but I didn't care. I didn't care about anything, save one detail: at the side of my screen, there it was. "TravelerHD found Timur's Lash".

My journey had ended. I found my friend.

As I am not the greatest destiny player, the old Iron Banner daily 10 kill streak bounty used to be a chore. I was playing out of my gourd one game, and quickly hit 7 kills, followed closely by two more. Being at 9 kills, my heart was racing. As I snuck around the edge of the map, being careful not to let any elusive foes get at my backside, I slipped off the edge of the map, and not even my hunter double jump was enough to plant my feet back on firm ground. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, my 10 kill bounty was not complete for the remainder of the glorious Iron Banner Tournament...

The coolest thing in iron banner that happened to me is when I nearly got an unbroken in the dark below days. another is when I went into this lfg group to play iron banner, and it felt like I was in some kind of competitive tournament with a ton of call outs and stuff, and who has their super. it was fun
