In the last two months, Ubisoft has made a push to bring Assassin's Creed to mobile, free-to-play.

In August, this took form as the misguided Assassin's Creed: Memories, a "multi-faceted experience blending card battle, RPG, and strategy gameplay." That's putting it generously. In September, a ship-wrangling Assassin's Creed: Pirates was released – and it doesn't look half-bad! Here in October, we've got Assassin's Creed: Identity on iOS and Android.

We're only seven weeks away from the spectacle of Far Cry 4. In the meantime, Ubisoft is releasing a few more juicy bits about the game. Today, they've got a few hundred words on the lore of Pagan Min, and a trailer he's narrated. It's quite a nice prologue to read. The trailer's good too.

Outland was originally released three years ago on XBL and PSN. Developed by Housemarque (RESOGUN) and published by Ubisoft, the tribal platformer got good reviews. And now, Outland is finally coming to PC this Monday!

Ubisoft has released information about the Assassin's Creed Unity Season Pass, the game's first DLC as well as a bonus 2.5D standalone game: Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China.

In a blog post on Thursday, Ubisoft announced that the new-gen installation of the Assassin's Creed franchise is getting delayed. Players will not have to wait too much longer however, as Assassin's Creed: Unity is just being delayed to November 11th for North America. This new launch date is only two weeks after the original October 28th release date.

Gamescom: August 13th - 17th 

As it stands, Gamescom is becoming a second E3 each year. And hey, we're not complaining! We love the spectacle of it all. In proper theatrics, all the major names have put together a hype video.
