We will bring the Free Realms PC servers offline on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. PDT (San Diego Time) for a Game Update. Anticipated downtime is around 2 hours. What's coming? It's the big one! We'll see you in Sunstone Valley!

Since the first glimpse of Sunstone Valley at SOE Fan Faire 2009, the heart of every explorer has been eager to learn more. Well, the wait is over! Host Harvey Burgess (Producer), will be joined by Eric Hankins (Designer) and Chris Fritchoff (Designer) as they share this new area the players can enjoy. Today Free Realms launched the lastest installment of its TCG, Heroes. This online free-to-play card game immerses players in a fun new storyline, challenging gameplay, fun collectability and the chance to play and trade cards with friends.
Gifted in four Mystery Chests by the Gypsy in Blackspore Swamp, players must choose a "Realmkeeper" Cardie deck in the game to combat the evil Baron von Darkcheat, who is threatening the lands of Free Realms with his own evil Mystery Chest Cardie deck. Players (Realmkeepers), with their magical Mystery Chest Cardie decks, must win enough games against the Baron and his three henchmen to ensure that the Baron's deck loses its power and fades from existence, foiling the Baron's plans to become King of Free Realms.
The Heroes TCG features 76 Cards, including 54 booster cards and 22 promo cards, and four brand-new quests. Log in today and play! And see the official trailer after the jump.
The Free Realms PC servers will be offline on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 9:00 p.m. PDT (San Diego Time) for a Hotfix to make a few minor improvements. The game servers will be unavailable for about 30 minutes.

UPDATE: The downtime will occur on Friday, June 15 at 8am PDT. Servers are expected to be offline for at least 1 hour.
According to today's SOE Community Webcast, the Shrouded Glade Under Attack event is scheduled to start tonight! No time was given but we're guessing that 9pm Pacific, when a lot of updates occur, is likely. Watch for announcements in-game, on Facebook, or on the Official Forums!
