Square Enix announced in a press release earlier today that the new Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call will be released exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS. The title will come to North America later in 2014, priced at $39.99.

With what seems to be a heavily-rejoiced announcement from Square Enix, the producer for the Final Fantasy series, Yoshinori Kitase, has revealed that Square Enix has high interest in bringing the Final Fantasy series straight to the PC platform instead of porting from console builds.

The Tokyo Game Show is underway and Square Enix has released a feast of Final Fantasy for fans. New trailers for Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remastered, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, and Final Fantasy XV have been making the rounds this morning.
