The President of the ABC networks Paul Lee confirms that the Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood Agents of SHIELD spinoff is a go, so that's something. Next week brings back Flash and Arrow, as well as the next season of Agent Carter, and Legends of Tomorrow Thursday after next. Speaking of Flash, Executive Producer Greg Berlanti has taken back his previous claim that Flash and Supergirl won't crossover, stating that now it is possible but there aren't any plans yet. I don't think they'd be out of place in each other's shows, but Arrow would be still the odd-man out, more so with Kara. Also, Andrew Kreisberg promises more Gorilla Grodd, in a "big way, but not this season." Which dollars to donuts means he'll come back through the portal with a super intelligent monkey army. Finally for now, Mark Ruffalo, the current actor in front of Lou Ferrigno, confirms that Kate Blanchett is in talks with the Merry Marvel Makers for a role in the next chapter of the Thor movies.
Finally got around to seeing Fury Road. It's a good movie, but I think the only reason it's really considered the best movie of the year has more to do with the quality of the movies it was competing against than it's own quality. I mean, I enjoyed Ant-Man and Jurassic World more, but I wouldn't consider either of them best movie material either. The practical effects were definitely top shelf, I'll give it that.

Ryan Coogler confirmed as Black Panther director. Has two directoral credits to his name, Creed and Fruitville Station, both of which starred Michael B Jordon. Not much of a pattern, but there it is. Still got a year and a half before information starts piling up full steam, and the movie has a Febuary 2018 release date. But it's something.
Russos about Black Panther and Spider-Man in Civil War wrote:
They both have a special place in Civil War because of the reasons you're saying. They don't fall neatly into either side.
Black Panther is one of our favorite characters in the film, because he's sort of his on his own side in the film. He's not aligned with either side and he has his own road fork that's very central to the plot of the film. Like, he's very invested emotionally, but it doesn't fall into clean sides."
Spider-Man similarly enters the movie after the Avengers pick sides. Doesn't have a huge investment politically, but he develops a very personal relationship as to why he picks a side. I won't talk about the personal relationship he develops, but it is very interesting. One of the most special parts of the movie.
The art of saying a lot and not saying at all.
Agent Carter's showrunner, Michelle Fazekas, says her show will have tie-ins to both Agents of SHIELD and Doctor Strange.
Michelle Fazekas wrote:
Basically, Isodyne is a company that we invented based in part on real life companies like Radiodyne or General Atomic or the beginnings of the Jet Propulsion Lab -- all of which were in L.A. in the '40s, and were developing the space program and were developing nukes. That's what Isodyne is, and what you'll learn is they were involved in the nuclear testing out in the desert when they were testing the, at the time they were calling it the atom bomb -- and one of these tests didn't go as expected. You'll learn more about that in Season 2, but they stumble upon what people in the Marvel Universe will know as Darkforce, but because they've never seen it before they just name it Zero Matter. That's our tie-in to the 'Doctor Strange' universe, and also to 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' because you've seen it in 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' as well.
[...]
The cool thing about what we learned as we researched Darkforce over the course of Marvel comic book history is, it affects people in different ways. It's created a bunch of superheroes, it's created a bunch of villains, and it has all these different properties. It could be a liquid, it could be a gas, it could be a solid, it could give you powers, it could kill you. It has a lot of different applications, which was cool for us. We were able to select what we liked and sort of make our own rules as to what it does, how it operates, and who it affects in our world.
Tying in with Flash, CBS President Glenn Geller comments on the potential of a Flash/Supergirl cross-over with a basic say it but not statement: "I have to be really careful what I say here. Watch and wait and see what happens." Personally, I think it'll happen. They already pulled in Constantine, though arguably part of that might have it's cancellation to thank for it.

Around the rumor water cooler, there is talk that Amber Heard is in negotiations to join the cast of James Wan's Aquaman, playing opposite Jason Momoa as the female lead. If true, it's possible she'll be Mera, long time love interest slash wife slash queen of Atlantis. Her acting credits include "The Danish Girl," "Magic Mike XXL," and "Pineapple Express," so a pretty decent range. Also that Bizarro will make an appearance that'll lead to the Justice League movies. In TV news, Jonah Hex to appear on Legends of Tomorrow, possibly reoccuringly, in a future episode, which pretty much guaruntees at least one Wild West inspired episode where at least one character comically falls off a horse and another is an unexpected expert. Also future episode-esque, Bizarro Supergirl should be showing up in a future episode of Supergirl, surprising to anyone that didn't see the previous episode, and Toyman should be showing up any episode now, which unfortunately it won't be the "SOLOMAN GRUNDY WUNTS PANTS TOO" Superfriends version, but there is a reference to it, which I appreciate. Anyone following the current "Heroes: Reborn" should know that it will be concluding with just this one season, and according to NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt it was always intended that way.
I guess since we're doing books as well to pad this thread, the next Narnia film to be adapted, "The Silver Chair," will not be a sequel to the previous Chronicles of Narnia movies but a reboot. I admit I only read the first book, so if someone else wants to share what that means to movie goers go ahead.
The current MCU and DCCU calanders, plus Deadpool and Spider-Man, for anyone that wants to see how badly their wallets are going to hurt and when. This March is going to be especially painful for mine. Guess it won't be that painful afterall. Also think Thor is in for a world of hurt. Ant-Man vs Aquaman should be interesting, though I'm giving Juan Punch Man Ant-Man the edge simply because it's already established. Otherwise they're spaced out decently. Anyway, here's the list:
Deadpool - February 12, 2016
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - March 25, 2016
Captain America: Civil War - May 06, 2016
Suicide Squad - August 05, 2016
Doctor Strange - November 04, 2016
Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 - May 05, 2017
Wonder Woman - June 23, 2017
Untitled Spider-Man - July 07, 2017
Thor: Ragnarok - November 03, 2017
Justice League: Part One - November 17, 2017
Black Panther - February 16, 2018
The Flash - March 23, 2018
Avengers: Infinity War: Part One - May 04, 2018
Ant-Man and the Wasp - July 06, 2018
Aquaman - July 27, 2018
Shazam - April 05, 2019
Avengers: Infinity War: Part Two - May 03, 2019
Justice League: Part Two - June 14, 2019
Captain Marvel - March 18, 2019
Inhumans - July 12, 2019
Cyborg - April 3, 2020
Green Lantern Corps - June 19, 2020
Subject to change, etc etc. Also Deadpool has it's official R rating, which is surprising to pretty much no one that has followed the movie's news over the last year.

Tim Curry, who gained widespread recognition for his role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show†over 40 years ago, is returning to the horror musical for its revival at FOX.
According to TheWrap, Curry will play the Criminologist Narrator in the revival. Commenting on his “Rocky Horror†return, Curry said, “I am very happy and excited to be a part of this new event.â€
Curry first played Dr. Frank-N-Furter in a 1973 London stage production of “The Rocky Horror Show,†which was later adapted into the cult-favorite 1975 film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.†Since then, Curry played other iconic roles in films like “Clue†and “It,†along with doing voice work on series such as “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,†“Young Justice,†and on both “Batman Beyond†and “Batman: The Animated Series.â€

WB finds someone to be Gal Gadot's mother in director Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman movie in Connie Nielsen. Seeing as how she was in Gladiator, I imagine she's accustomed to the dress code. Also in Wonder Woman news, Chris Pines, who will be playing Steve Trevor, has confirmed that the movie is set in, at least in part that is, World War I. Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" is being adapted into a Netflix show with Neil Patrick Harris in the lead role, though they lost Mark Hudis as the showrunner. Also on Netflix news, Jessica Jones get a second season, which is fine since it was a good show and deserves a second season, but one can't help but ask what direction it'll go in now that the best part of the show is in a Tardis somewhere.
There's been rumors since '13 of Fox working on a X-Force movie, and recently what is probably less-than-official concept art for it surfaced online, featuring Cable, Domino (yay), Warpath, Cannonball, and someone I assume to be Boom Boom (which would be another yay). Also, rumors have started circulating that Ryan Reynold's Deadpool could join the roster, probably as a bad guy since that's where the character got it's start, since his movie did so well in the box office. Anyone convinced it won't? Well, except in China where it is rumored it won't be released due to the hard R.
Tomorrow DVRs across the country are going to explode, as Flash returns, along with the next season of Agent Carter starts up, as well as a Captain America special, a Legends of Tomorrow special, and a second DC special showcasing their movies to come.

For attendees of two screenings, the wait to see "Deadpool" unleashed on the big screen is over. Two special fan events that were billed as premieres of "first look footage" from "Deadpool" ended up being more than that -- they ended up being premieres of the entire movie. Audiences in both New York and Los Angeles got to see the movie last night; Ryan Reynolds introduced the film in New York while, as ComicBook.com reported, Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld, director Tim Miller, screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, actress Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead) and Stan Lee himself showed up at the Los Angeles one.
I knew about the footage showing here, but I figured it was just showing the trailers and such so I didn't even bother. I am so angry. According to Twitter, the people that saw the movie enjoyed it, but you know, these were people who were going to go see some random footage so there might be some bias.
Marc Guggenheim confirms that Matt Ryan's "Constantine" appearance on Arrow was a one time deal, which sucks.
So this is a thing for Netflix, March 16.

Flash: I hate when speedsters use computers because by now the entire world knows computers don't work that way. I can type a million words a minute and that doesn't make search results appear faster. At least it looks neat, I guess. Also, I can't stand how people who the story tries to tell us are intelligent don't even consider that when their significant other disappears and the cape appears that maybe there might be a connection. Also, you know, flowers on fire and multiple rescues and a discussion with the villain. There are just some cliches that need to be done away with. Not bad, and Flash always proves what good you can do if you don't sink your budget into location shots.
Agent Carter: Not a bad start, though I do enjoy late '40s period pieces so that has something to do with it. Just as Jarvis and Peggy parked in front of the front office of the SSR there's a theater sign behind them with a marque that reads "Tales of Suspense," which had me in stitches. Mostly a Captain America and Iron Man book during the Silver Ages. I do love me some Easter Eggs. That Whitney Frost just ... didn't do anything for me. I mean, I can see where they're going with her, but I still think they could have kept the raven hair.
Good to see Dottie. She would have been a great Masque. And Jarvis, what a great character.
Texas Rising star, Johnathon Schaech, has been brought in to play the disfigured gunslinger Jonah Hex in at least the 11th episode of Legends of Tomorrow. Ryan Reynolds says there's already talk about a Cable & Deadpool movie, which would certainly be great. Of course it won't be based off the comic series, as that'd have way too many connections to way too many characters and other stories that it would simply be unfeasible. But if there are two characters that deserve a movie together because of their shared history, it's Batman and Superman but they already have a movie coming out soon. These two are up there as well, though. Also could lead to the rumored X-Force movie, which is always a plus. Speaking of stars starting rumors, Danny Trejo started a doozie.
Geoff Johns confirms the characters that'll be showing up in the Justice League movie.
Geoff Johns wrote:
We've been to the bottom of the ocean. We've been to ancient Greek mythology, we've been to the past and future with the Flash, we've been to the digital world with Cyborg. We still got to go to space. So the Green Lanterns and the Green Lantern Corps are coming to join the Justice League universe.
So Batman, Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and at least one Green Lantern. Also last night, the new Suicide Squad trailer, featuring Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody.
Some new Dawn of Justice footage.
And some Wonder Woman footage.

Ugh... I was ranting at my screen about this last night. I get that emotions can blind us to the truth, but I felt it was taken a bit to the extreme -- especially for a law enforcement officer. Fortunately the superhero genre has conditioned me to suspend my disbelief, but even I have limits...
Sony/Marvel's untitled Spider-Man movie has been moved up in the schedule, from July 28 to July 7, which sounds like a monumental bad choice considering Wonder Woman is coming out like a week before it. Seems to be a part of a larger shuffling of movies, including the next Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars Episode VIII. Made the necessary change to the previous list. In better news, Mike Colter says Rosario Dawson will reprise her Claire Temple character, and not only that but she'll be a significant part of the series. Mark Ruffalo commented on his take on Thor: Ragnarok, saying the structure of the movie is a classic road trip movie. So I imagine lots of scene changes and some Cousin Eddie shenanigans. There's also an unnamed source stating that after Odin disappeared at the end of The Dark World, he'll be on Earth as a hobo warning of the impending apocalypse. That'd be kind of a neat twist. Another rumor is that the Russos are filming additional death scenes, in part to throw off anyone from knowing for sure who lives and who dies in the final product, and also behind the scenes contractual issues. They did it with Quicksilver and Hawkeye in Age of Ultron as well. Though, let's be honest, Rogers going down is the most likely outcome.
Bryan Singer says the X-Men: Apocalypse main baddie played by Oscar Isaac will be quite different from what we're accustomed to. For one, he's "an" energy, whatever that means. He spends time moving from body to body, thus allowing him to steal powers. "one of them is to imbue other mutants and to heighten their powers and abilities beyond anything they ever imagined," and he can also "shield from psychic powers, he can form shields that it makes it harder for psychics like Xavier to tap in and get to them." In other words, he's Orochimaru from Naruto.
Singer, more about Apocalypse wrote:
[W]hat’s wonderful is he thinks in the beginning of the film he’s found this great body. I don’t want to give away what the power of the body this mutant has but it’s a familiar one that you’ve seen a number of very famous mutants have. It kind of ends up being the wrong one because he gets stuck in it for a long time, but then suddenly he has this opportunity and that becomes his agenda. So it’s another interesting thing in the movie, the villain always has their agenda.
[...]
The way I describe him the most, the best, is he to me is the God of the Old Testament and all that comes with that," said Singer. "If there isn’t the order and the worship then I’ll open up the Earth and swallow you whole, and that was the God of the Old Testament. I started from there and when Oscar and I met we began discussing -- since he isn’t really God, he’s the first mutant perhaps, but he’s not God necessarily -- he’s imbued with certain unique powers. Some of them may or may not be from this Earth, we don’t know.
Simon Kinberg, about the Four Horsemen wrote:
Fassbender was the first person that we decided would be an interesting Horseman. And then truly we just kind of sat there the way that anybody would, rather you were in a role-playing game or a video game or doing fan fiction, and it was like who are the coolest characters you wanna see? And who are interesting combinations with one another, and who are interesting foils for the heroes of the movie?
[...]
A lot of the way that Bryan and I work together is it’s about theme and character more than story and spectacle. The story and spectacle comes and obviously there’s amazing teams here, and Bryan himself has such a cinematic mind, but we start it from the inside. So a lot of those decisions are made based on who are the people that deepened the core ideas of the movie? Who are the people that challenge, emotionally, the main characters of the movie, or are mirror images of the main characters?
If it hasn't been said, the Horsemen are going to be Magneto, Angel, Storm, and Psylocke.

Arrow: I am not sure if I'm supposed to know who this "Brie Thorpe" from the tombstone that we were supposed to assume was Felicity at the beginning of the show.
Also, Felicity is now a paraplegic, intelligent person, set to guide the superheroes using technology behind the scenes.
DC LoT: I thought it was a good start. I liked the slight twist about 3/4th the way though. "Oh, ya... I didn't get you guys because you were Legends... I got you guys cause you had the least impact on the future."
Also, Felicity is now a paraplegic, intelligent person, set to guide the superheroes using technology behind the scenes.
For a few moments a couple of pictures were leaked of Felicity in a wheelchair and that rumor spread, but the show's executive producer, Wendy Mericle, said it was "off the table." Which is good, because Oracle was the best thing to happen to Barbara Gordon, a great moment of character growth that made her a unique, interesting, and an important character in-universe for a time and we wouldn't want to do anything like that when we can just give Felicity something else to cry about.
Legends of Tomorrow: Hey, it started just like Bill & Ted! Minus the brilliant bearded comedian as the guy with the slicked back hair and trench coat discussing time travel. Two scenes over and it's Canary in the bar from the first Indiana Jones. Men In Black's Flashy Thingtm. Welcome Back, Kotter was a nice touch, if a painfully cliche way to show what age a time traveler is in. I like how Doc mentioned being a legend implied that they'd have died like it was somehow a hint at their demise, like any of them would be naturally alive in a hundred years. The bar fight was 200% pointless. It's pretty safe, not really taking any chances but it is the first episode. Kind of halfway between Arrow and Flash. No real character development, but that's probably due to the audience being expected to know the characters from their previous appearances on Arrow and Flash.
Doctor Strange has found his Wong ... which is something I've been dying to write for a while now. Benedict Wong, who was most recently Bruce Ng in "The Martian" shall be the Doctor's faithful, if sardonic, manservant. Though, probably not in the movie itself as it is an origin story. He was also in Prometheus and Kick-Ass 2. Also in casting news, Martin Donovan, who you may remember as Mitchell Carson (The guy that Pym beat at the start of the movie) from Ant-Man, has been cast as Zaman Druce in Legends of Tomorrow. Described as "Rory's Rip Hunter's mentor and fellow Time Lord Master."
Lana Condor, who like plays Jubilee, like wrote:
Her power in the comic books is fireworks. In this film, I can safely say that her power is more fire-plasmoid, electricity type. She is a student at the X-Mansion and she’s been here for about 10 years. So she’s not new, unlike some of the other characters who have just arrived. She’s mostly with Scott, Jean, and Kodi (Nightcrawler). They’re like her good core friend group. And, I think in this film she serves as a timepiece, ‘cause you’ll never really forget that you’re, like, in the ‘80’s. Because if you’ve seen my costume, like I’m straight out of the ‘80’s, like, they literally took me out. And, she also serves as kind of comedic relief at times where things are-might be a little more tense and real S-H-I-T is going down.
Like, cool.

Like they don't really know it's happening. You're really throwing people off. Your opponent. He was like, 'Well, you can really throw them off if you're going from your real sword to your psychic sword and then just switching hands and it's just...’ I was like, ‘That sounds awesome.
SABER! It's good to know they're putting in a lot of work into this.
Rumors continue to come out of the Thor: Ragnarok black hole, this time that Cate Blanchett's alleged dealings with the MCU will place her as the main baddie, Hela.
Steve Rogers is returning to being Captain America in the comics, but now dressed as a patriotic football player with an oldschool angular shield (similar to his original) that has a weird energy spike in the tip. Sam Wilson will continue as Captain America as well, and I figure the 2099 version won't be going away any time soon. I guess it works for Batman and Spider-Man, why not Captain America?

I really enjoyed Lucifer. Seems the right amount of comedy mixed in with the whole "Balance of Good and Evil" applied to the Christian mythology that I like. I've always enjoyed the stories where the Christian gods are depicted in a similar way as Roman and Greek mythology are. Beings with personalities, flaws, etc. And where the good side and bad side have this love/hate cooperative relationship.
And X Files seems to be off to a good start. But it looks like it's only a short story. Six episodes? So it's already 1/3rd the way through.
Congratulations Panthers for making it to Super Bowl 50. Also congratulations on causing my dvr to not record the last half of the X-Files Sunday premiere, you fucnuts. Oh well. It was only the first episode, but the problem with Lucifer I have is that for a investigation show there isn't much tension to the investigation. Essentially he just magics the answer. It's no Law & Order or House. At least the main character's personality is amusing, and I do like the little kid. And Supergirl was making fun of Trump, so there's that.
Blade Runner 2, starring Ryan Gosling, starts filming in July. Also in filming news, Scarlet Johansson's Ghost in the Shell moves from Disney to Paramount, so that should be something. Though, it's an anime-to-American Live Action so I don't think expectations are all that high, even if it is ScarJo.

How many guys are they going to bring in as love interests for Kara? Maybe they'll offload a few of them onto Bizzaro Supergirl.
I bet they make Bizzarogirl a love interest as well.
Flash: Cisco screams like a girl. Such a scene stealer. Nice name drop with Hunter Zolomon. Also Patty finally caught a clue after everything I complained about last week, but dumb as hell reveal at the end. Little peeved they keep weenie characters like Weather Wizard around but interesting ones like Turtle get axed in less than an episode. Carter: Why does no one ever look under tables?! That's the first place I'd start searching. Jarvis' disembodied voice comment was pure gold. Another mostly hidden theater marquee with "Tales of Suspense" playing, this time adding Whitney Frost's name to it.
Disney Chairman and possible Frankensteen sidekick Bob Iger claims there are more Star Wars, and more importantly (to me) Marvel movies on the horizon than just the ones that are currently scheduled. Great, I didn't have enough to spend my money on. Delroy Lindo joins the Agents of SHIELD spin-off, "Marvel's Most Wanted," (the one about Mockingbird and Lance) as Dominic Fortune, an old school adventurer from the 1930s (though probably moved a decade or two due to sliding timeline) who became a costumed mercenary for hire who really liked handguns and globe-trotted for wealth and excitement. Speaking of Flash, Allison Paige has been brought in as Trajectory, a(nother) speedster slash trickster, though more shenanigan tricks than exploding teddy bears using The Force tricks.
One good thing to come out of the Lucifer premiere is that after failing their petition, One Million Moms took a different approach and started to boycott Olive Garden for being a sponsor, presumably because Olive Garden is about as Italian as Lucifer is a satanic show.

Arrow: They state that the codename "Oracle" is already in use, so that means Batgirl, and by extension Batman, has been active in the DCTVU for a while? I mean, I know it's just the writers saying "Look at us, we're trying to be clever!" but still. Kind of no surprise Felicity was a goth, what with being whiny and crying all the time. Also maybe I'm not paying attention, but when did Amanda Waller lose the other 150lbs of herself? I was under the impression she was a hefty lady.

I am pretty sure we have met dark haired Felicity before. I think in one of the earlier seasons she recognizes some program code and realizes it was something she and her boyfriend wrote while in college. Flashback happens and it shows her all teen-angsty with her college boyfriend.
I am confused though At the end of the episode Oliver made a big deal about what Felicity did. But what she did is what she has always done. She's always been in the background helping through technology and computer skills.
But what she did is what she has always done. She's always been in the background helping through technology and computer skills.
But she did it while in a wheelchair, so the writers were showing us what a good wife Oliver is in being so supportive of her in her time of need and confusion about her self-worth and such.
LoT: Multimillion dollar suit of armor! Advanced weaponary even in the "present!" Completely bullet proof (except that large open area between his nose and chin...)! Shrinks, flies, and shoots lasers! Easily has pieces broken off by a random thug with a lead pipe! Also not a single scortched or ice cubed body. What's the point of ice and fire guns if there aren't any fried or frozen corpses? At least one blue-ish person stuck in a funny pose or someone on fire running in the background?

Supergirl: Interesting how they reversed the powers, ice eyes and fire breath. Less interesting with the touchy-feely save-the-villain ending, though. Flash: So Barry's normal top speed is, at least according to the show, 1,500mph. He lost 2% to Wells-2. That means the glass that struck Iris had to be traveling more than 1,470mph to have escaped Barry's grasp. For perspective, a standard 9mm pistol fires a round at about 1,200 feet per second, or roughly 820mph. I'd imagine something moving at almost twice the speed of sound and being, you know, a large shard of glass, would have done much more damage. Science! And finally thanks to the fans and journalists who have kept asking for this to happen. It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone's enthusiasm and support.
It's happening, to almost no one's surprise. Flash to show up in an episode of Supergirl in March, presumably soon after Supergirl will travel on down to the Flash's show. I hope it's a race episode.
Apparently Thor's "secret identity" has been released for us to see. Okay, maybe it's just Hemsworth in the new Ghostbusters movie coming out, but it's fun to think of just how interconnected the worlds are sometimes when you're bored.

Science!
That actually does (or can) work out. You are forgetting a factor:
The Flash has to move fast enough to make up the distance between him and the glass shard while the glass shard is still moving. He has to reach Iris before the glass does. And the glass has a big head start, and can reach her first while moving slower.
Assume: Glass shard is 3 feet away from Iris at the time Barry notices it. Barry is 90 feet away from Iris The glass shard is traveling at 50mph (actual speed doesn't matter, this is just illustrative purposes). Barry is traveling at 1470mph, but should be traveling at 1500mph
At those speeds, the glass would reach Iris in (if my math is right) 0.0409 seconds.
( Feet divided by 5280 feet per mile divided by 50 mph times 60 minutes per hour times 60 seconds per minute )
At 1470mph, Barry would reach Iris in 0.0417 seconds. Too late at 1500mph, Barry would reach Iris in 0.0409 seconds. Just in time
Carter: Were they trying to show a similarity between Peggy and Whitney? It seems like they were, but didn't do a very good job at it. If they were, maybe they should have shown a bit more of the younger Peggy? I only recall very young Peggy, and about the be married Peggy (twice). Where I think Whitney had very young, early teen, and then early adult. They didn't seem to make the same showing of a young Peggy being told to be more lady like other than her 10 year or (or so) self being a tomboy.
