From what everyone says I'm sure it's an enjoyable movie, but post-apocalyptic dieselpunk just doesn't do anything to me.
Italia Ricci is brought in as Silver Banshee for Supergirl. In another Black Panther director rumor,
Creed's Ryan Coogler may be in negotiations for the spot.
Now that Disney owns the Star Wars franchise, they're phasing out the slave costume from their merchandising. Carrie Fisher is such a beautiful person, giving the greatest comment about it one could come up with.

I think that’s stupid. The father who flipped out about it, ‘What am I going to tell my kid about why she’s in that outfit?’ Tell them that a giant slug captured me and forced me to wear that stupid outfit, and then I killed him because I didn’t like it. And then I took it off. Backstage.
Michael Wilkinson, during Brazil's CCXP 2015 wrote:
It (Batman during the unmasking scene) is a different look. (Director) Zack (Snyder) had a great idea of this sort of nightmare-ish vision, almost a vision of the future, a post-apocalyptic vision. It's like a dream that Ben (Affleck) has, so we wanted to, it has almost a 'Mad Max' quality to it where it's like the end of the world, trying to survive and then of course Superman and his minions come, so it's sort of a way of representing the amazing amounts of, the sort of obsessive quality that Bruce Wayne has about the threat of Superman. In this film, Superman, of course he's normally seen as a figure of hope, a positive thing, but in this film, his motivations, the consequences of his actions are really being questioned by the world. Is he a savior? Or is he a dangerous alien with unknown intentions? And this becomes an obsession for Bruce Wayne. And he really wants to sort it out. So, it's manifested in this sort of incredible dream that Zack decided to create.

Well, I'm not really at the liberty to talk about the Flash right now, but it's something that you'll be seeing in the future in our films. You do get a glimpse of him, of course, in 'Batman v Superman.' But I'm really looking forward to taking the amazing, iconic costume for the Flash and interpreting it in a fresh way where Ezra Miller is playing the Flash. He's an extraordinary performer, he has a sort of interesting sense of humor and the youth that will be great for Barry Allen and I think he's going to make a great Flash.
So a "it was all a dream" scene and yet another cameo.
Also at the CCXP, Wilkinson explained that director Zack Snyder wanted to incorporate a quote from influential writer and mythologist Joseph Campbell into the look. The quote Snyder chose was, "Where we had thought to stand alone, we will be with all the world."
Michael Wilkinson wrote:
"We decided to translate that into Kryptonian and we decided to put that on the 'S' on his chest, through his cuffs, his belt, through his bicep, just to give a little extra something for the fan with very sharp vision to appreciate," said Wilkinson. He added, "With the Superman costume we have a new material. The suit is a little bit more shear so you really get the sense of this metal undercut coming through the blue oversuit... Every time you do a character you get the opportunity to make them even more compelling and exciting
Peyton Reed about Ant-Man & Wasp sequel wrote:
[T]here's a lot of rich stuff. Not only with the different sort of super heroic identities that he had in the comics, but just his psychology. I mean, we do set up in the movie that when Scott says to him, 'Why don't you just put on the suit?' He's like, 'I can't. I did it for a long time, and it took a toll on me.' It's like, 'Well, what does that mean, exactly?' I think there are a lot of things that we're going to explore in the next one that will explain a lot of that stuff.
When asked about Giant-Man and Goliath appearances, Reed said something along the lines of "it's such a crucial part of his character in the comics, I think to ignore that would be crazy." So ... maybe some size changing in both directions next movie. Neat.

Russo, to Super Interessante wrote:
It's complicated. When we start to serialize the telling of stories it's difficult. You have to have a lot of control and focus on the course of history. The films are controlled by a group led by Kevin Feige, so they function as a unit.
Other products, even if they are from Marvel, are controlled by others. Then there is the possibility of a crossover, but it's more complicated. It is a smaller scale version of the problem that exists when remembering that Fox holds the rights to some of Marvel's most popular characters, as does Sony and others. As storytellers, we only have control over what happens in Marvel movies, but everything is possible, Spider-Man (whose rights were held by Sony) became possible!
As far as I'm concerned, all they'd have to really do is cameo while fighting grunts and protecting civilians. Speaking of Spider-Man, when asked about what costume would be used in Civil War, Russo said:
Russo-Man, Russo-Man, does whatever a Russo Can wrote:
The film will show a mix of what everyone is waiting and a little twist. So yeah, that's what I can tell.
Red and blue, or red and gold? Blue and gold?
More Russo about Spider-Man wrote:
From the second we had the idea to do the story of 'Civil War,' Spider-Man was a part of the story. It was a very complicated business arrangement for Marvel Studios to be able to use Spider-Man from Sony. So, we were always told by Marvel, 'Don't count on it, you may not get to use Spider-Man, so you better have a plan B.' And we were like, 'Okay, we get it, we have a plan B if don't get Spider-Man; we'll figure the movie out.' But the truth is, we never had a plan B. We only have envisioned the movie with Spider-Man. He was always a part of the story. It was very important to us to reintroduce the character.
