Hi ^^ I'm returning to the game today or tomorrow ( downloading game now ) Played for years and quit in 09, Have had the itch to play for awhile now, I found these forums and now It's time to pull the trigger! What is this Gold World Pass you talk of? I'll be starting over from scratch and making new pol account. I'll hit you up when I get in-game ^^ or PM me gold pass so I can use when I'm making char. Not really sure how that works :P

Im in the same position as the dude above me. This game is pretty lonely, so this prospect is great for me.
Im only vaguely aware of how it all works, but if i was to join before 7 days (when you can post another gold pass) then laustin would have to post it instead, right?
(sorry if im assuming a bit too much! it's just a bit disorientating how complicated Square makes this whole shebang, lol)

Hello, I am a returning player (played last about 4-5 years ago-ish!) looking for a GMT/UK based linkshell. I'm currently patching the game up now and expect to be able to log on at some stage tomorrow, would it be possible to get a linkpearl from you also?

I used to play the game before TOAU came out, then went to other MMO's, but none were as fun as this one.
Are you recruiting players to grind with? Or to complete missions/content within the game? Cause I may be the only one who wants to do this, but I want to beat the shadowlord/zilart/promathia etc.
I recently recreated a character on Odin but he is not far in progression and I would be happy to move over.

hey wanted to see if u still looking for ppl. I am a old ffxi returning player. last time i play was 3 years ago. i just started back up on the server i left off Bismarck and seems like it has died down alot . cant even find a party to start or get into every one is in lvl 99. so im in need of a new group. im currently looking into transferring to a diffrent server but still looking. but if u are looking let me know if i can join and ill transfer there

I'm not sure about everyone else who posted, but I'm damn sure about me. I have no clue if you'll ever read this jedi, but I'm soo down for this. I'm a returning player that has played on pc, ps2 and now on xbox. I have played on titan and leviathan and none of my friends play anymore. The highest level I've ever reached on any of my characters is 40 and I quit back in 2008. I told myself I would never return but I went out and bought the collectors edition for $111 bucks and I want to start over as a taru. I wanna be a melee taru. I also wanted to be on the cerberus server....(I'm a mass effect nut) and it just so happens you may have a gold pass that I'd be forever in your debt if you provided. I'd even pay you back the gil spent. I always wanted the special items obtained from that and I'd be a dedicated player. Turns out my game will arrive Tuesdy, I look forward to our adventures on cerberus!
as of now I'm taking a 1 month break before I come back online again but will be happy for you to join us. SO many games out there playing Aion,empire earth online, Cod3,DC Universe Online,Vindictus EU, all are high end games testing out this month, so kind of busy with those lol they all free also

Are you recruiting again? I played for years and quit for about 5 years and I will be reawakening my character tonight. Would love to be in ls with new people as i will be sorely rusty, not nearly as many hours to put in as i used to..and have some knowledge of alot of the missions (I completed almost all of the windurst home missions, and some promotha). I have all the game packs new add ons and wouldn't leave the shell just because we finished a few missions. hopping to grow with a good group of people and get ready for the new expansion set for next year. I will be looking around today to see who is active on the forums, and restarting my account tonight (though updates i imagine will take me into tomorrow).

Hi! I will be playing ffxi but I'm starting from zero! lol I played it when rise of the zilart was the only expansion and I wanted to come back today! I'll be playing today hopefully (updating ffxi) x.x
