The ugly thing is that playing quality in the late 20s and 30s can be quite poor. And a lot of PTs are hit or miss even up to 60s, which is bad for me since I am leveling COR now (and leveled NIN before), and it is expensive to level especially dealing with a poor quality PT.
I would really like to a static party for my Corsair. ; ;
One thing I notice a LOT is that people don't seem to pay attention as if they are watching TV when playing FFXI. Some fraction people like to play the trump card "I play the game the way I want!" when others make suggestions to improve their game play, which is very frustrating.
I usually solo up to level 15 nowadays, and simply go to Korroloka Tunnels to get out of the dreaded 10s fast.
I am distastful to PLing a PT. I once PTed my COR with a well respected player (I am not going to say who, but that person used to post here too) in the server, and he brought his GF's character to PL the PT. I asked him to stop, and then he just used the other character to cure himself and during downtime in the PT, which I silently acknolwedged as a compromise.
If you gonna PL >< Just PL solo so it won't effect other learning curve. There are always people who are "noobs," which with or without PL or other advice, they are gonna be hard to deal with.
I don't want to turn to a NA vs JP argument, but I will just be frank. Even the top tier players in both JP and NA tend to be quite equal at the high level, it is the middle/newbie/low level-class that there are huge differences. It just seems I met more NA who gimp and don't put effort among middle/newbie/low level-class than JP.
If someone bring another character for raises, that I do not mind too.
I am interested in teaming up with a static group with my Corsair if there are takers for that, but I only usually PT like twice a week. But if I find good group, I am willing to spend more time in joining a PT.
