Astral Candy?Follow

So......last week I went with about 12 people and tried to get the Astral Candescence back and failed. The main NM in the BC was already at 75% when we entered, but were only able to get it down to about 66% before we wiped. Yeah, not a bragging thread that is for sure!! I just can't believe that with so many people that hang out in Whitegate, that no one wants to try to go get it back. The NM's do not regain HP unless you kill one and then wipe. Then it will be back at 33% health for the next people that go in. Sanction is an awesome thing and it seems to me that others would want to get it back also, but they don't it seems. I shouted that we were looking for people to come help and 12 was all we could get. The farming of the bells is not that hard and you pick up decent xp when farming for the key item.

Then in SE's infinite wisdom they plan on creating a level 6 besieged!! Now if we can't keep the Candy from being taken on a level 5 and no one will get it back, then we just HAVE to have even stronger mobs take it!! I think besieged is a fun thing, but this is just irritating as all heck!!

Yup, it sucks so much that there are between 300-400+ people there at almost any given time. The sanction refresh that, before the candy was taken, would refresh my mp to 148 of 174 total! The exp bonus is worthless, the fast repops and all the of the other stuff sucks too. Also, if it sucks so bad why do I see you running around there all the time? Plain and simple, it is a great place that everyone likes to take advantage of, but when the candy is taken, no one cares to try and get it back. I tried and lost, but I am sure that some of these "Uber" LS's and such could easily get it done IF they wanted to. Maybe it will be reset after the update tonight.

=( I share in your frustration concerning the Astral Candy ; ;.... I love beseiges ~ one way to do something fun gain xp (course it's not alot but it's something... something to give your job a larger death cushion) and also a wonderful place to skill up 200+ skills (magic or combat)! I've nearly capped my enfeebling on my rdm and my elemental skills have to be close in capping now :D!

I was so proud of our server when we successfully defending the AC when all the generals were taken. It took tremendous effort on all 500ish ppl that actually showed. We did great! Then of course.... 2 days later with only 300ish ppl we lose it.....

I would so love to see the changes in beseiges which will be seen after the update ~ I just wish I had more time online to do everything I want.... How long does it take to get the "Key Item" to go in the battlefield? How many ppl are allowed inside?

The only other thought is that since the update will allow ppl to attempt to get the AC back w/out xp loss, perhaps that's what the normal ppl that go and get it back are waiting for....

Won't change the fact that you can still lose XP farming keys & getting past the true sight mobs on the way to the BC, but I'm pretty sure people will give it a go more often once the patch hits.

That's funny cause when I logged in Mamook was still defending and couldn't get Sanction Refresh or anything. Was that way until I went to bed at 11pm! Don't know what you all are talking about, but it is NOT back!!
