Well the weekend is over and I accomplished much on the meriting side. Have to say I'm looking forward to other things other than meriting. :P Bard is such a busy job and although I enjoy it ~ sometimes nice to take up the axes and actually swing at the mobs as my warrior >=)..
Only bad point on the weekend was that I got /slapped ; ;....
Our party decided to go the the Thickets ~ 4 wars 1 whm and 1 brd ~ we planned to decimate all Mamools in our path :) ~ we searched the area and only 2 parties were there so a third should fit in one of the main camps easily! So we arrive ~ well..... During the time of our transit to the area 2 other parties were there... /sigh.... Ok so we pick a camp near the North camp (a fairly dangerous camp) but was great xp and we weren't affecting the North camp too much and not bothering the 3 camps on the East and Main camp areas.... After about an hour there we notice that 2 pt's have left and claim the East camp. We're doing great ~ another hour passes and a new pt shows up and sets up camp between the main and east camp -.-..... I really hate that... You can see that the two pts here are dominating ~ yet the party sets up camp between those two pts.... meh.... Anyways ~ I'm pulling and obviously more competition for mobs now ~ since the new pt setup and I the bard outpull a ranger and he slaps me...... I don't react cause quite frankly not entirly sure what the ranger wanted me to do ~ I am pretty sure it takes me longer to cast a song than it does for him to shoot an bolt ~ so I was pulling it before him and got claim... Such is life ~ or should I say such is xp. Granted I'd give him a /sigh at me if he wanted to ~ hell I completely understand /sighing ~ it's frustrating to think you got pull to be outpulled by someone. :P Anyways ~ the extra party finally left and things resumed to normal.
Did I mention ~ I'm so looking forward to finishing the meriting for things I'd like ~ only need 4 more and I'm taking a break from it for now and focusing on more fun stuff. :P

Yes Bard is very tiring in that role. I myself like Mount Z and U Range better... partially is me as NIN is a little weak in accruacy (at least in the past) ~_~ and things are easier to hit there.
Next time you go, invite me to come too ;o I know my NIN doesn't suck :P And I bought a new toy recently that I want to try :P

We're hoping to finish up 4 merits tonight ~ I'll see if you're on Amanada ^.^
Was sad to see him slap me ;; ~ but hell ~ areas that are overcamped are very frustrating sometimes to get pull. And I know I AM a very aggresive puller as I will make sure my pt has something to kill when they are done with the last mob I brought ~ I have been called a beast by some of my friends. I think they call me beast since I don't let our tank/melees have rest time >.>;; I just keep bringing em.... Endless river of mobs :D Such a sweet thing to see when you are going thru them quickly. :P They have to send me a /tell if they need a break (and normally I won't (unless its the healer) since the other 5 players can continue without them for a few mobs anyways) otherwise the mobs just keep rolling in (unless we're having overcamping issues)...
