Many of you have seen these guys in qufim, crawler nest, and every other 20-50 leveling spots. There were also about 20 of them in Necropolis tonight hunting liches for level cap. Static party, bad gear, funny name... you know the drill.

Templar LS are nothing new, except that they seem to have a lot more english speaking players then previous batches of RMT. I have actually chatted with some of them and they are really quite funny.

They also are sticking to a botted power leveling format of 7 characters controlled by 2 actually players. One is of course the powerleveler, the other uses the party to engage. You will see most part members standing idle, engaged to the enemy but not facing it. One by one the melee will turn to engage. Or the mages in PERFECT sync cast the same nuke and manaburn the mob.

Today I was chatting with Badgirl and "her" group of bots. Badgirl is the operator and tomsmith was the puller and tank.

Badgirl
Nicegirl
Smallboy
Tomsmith
Jimking
Jimgreen

When you comment that the other characters in the party look like bots, one by one they move a little bit and say something. Random gibberish like "You my Friend !" followed by "You are too !" and they do this one by one until they "prove" that each member is real >.>

I asked "where are your subjobs?"

"My friend the GHoul he hate !" was the reply. I LOL'd!

Ask if they are Chinese and they send "/angry !" reply. Followed by "Why you say that ?". If you say their names are weird you get a funny response.

"That my friend !"
"Our together !"
"I find them !"

Two days in a row, 2 different parties, same LS. I got that same response lol!

Since they are sloppy bot controlled parties, the tend to wipe a lot! In crawler nest or garlaige for the last 2 weeks you will frequently come across people in purple pearls shouting for raises. And they use "Excuse me... raise please. Stupid bat !" types of tells that I have never seen gilsellers use before.

Now the scary part: their composition is very RDM and BLM heavy. There have even been a few RDM/DRK gilsellers lately, meaning they are getting very serious with sky and the tougher HNM. You don't need chainspell stun for Serket or Ammemet.

They are learning strategies and ideal job combos. No more DRG gilsellers like the old days. They are building a very functional HNMLS from the ground up, and there seems to be 40-50 members already in Templar LS. EVERY XP spot in the game has at least one party in it with their purple pearls.

No one can really prove anything here, so don't bother with GMs. If you are bored one day try chatting with the party's operator. As I said they have pretty good english for RMT players. And some, especially "Badgirl" are really quite funny to chat with.

For all we know, they could be just a really poorly equipped EU shell... Maybe they don't bot, and they are simply really bad players with slow reflexes... <cough>

Throw a GM-ga into their parties and get him to monitor their activities... Call me naive, but I called one on a pos-hacking Hoo Mjuu camper, and the GM was polite and prompt about getting to me... Yes, the perp prolly wasn't going to pos-hack any time soon out of no need to... (He fell off the cliff, I assume, to kill a chain of Yagudos...) There is a log kept of every GM call... If enough people report individual people, it's going to get those people burned eventually...

On a side note, that day I got my first claim on Hoo Mjuu, despite said pos-hacker, and achieved 1/1 on the Monster Signa ^^

Lol back in 2004 many of the early gil sellers were war/thf or drg/thf which were good jobs for solo farming. Jump is a very fast way to claim. Guys like coolsnow, etc had DRG and they were a menace on low level NMs and stroper chymes.

Now you will see gilsellers mainly producing "HMNLS-friendly" type jobs. Lots of nin, rdm, blm. You will rarely see a DD job leveled past 37. In fact the only DD you will see at all is WAR typically for use as a pld or nin sub. The only exception to this is DRK which is used as a rdm sub (very important for HNMLS).

The recent BLM magic nerf on NM doesn't come close to stopping the "blm-zerg" approach used by many HNMLS. Gilsellers can trounce sky with a heavy mage party, and they may be setting their sights on ground gods next (as they have done on some servers).

Soon there will be shouts of ridill and abjurations for sale from gilsellers >.> Pay 20-40mil for an invite to lot on rare/ex stuff (they already do this with byakko haidate, etc).

/mega sigh

It's so depressing. I've called GMs countless times on blatant RMT levelling in many different spots, on obvious Warp-hacking in Castle O, etc.

All of these people are still online and playing, yet my friend makes an obvious joke about Gil-buying and he is immediately banned and "Subject to review"

Buy the problem is this:

Why would SE make a concerted effort to completely eliminate RMT?
I would imagine, judging by the numbers RMT brings in, that a LOT of players would no longer play if they could not buy Gil, thus SE would lose a lot of revenue.

"You scratch my back, I scratch yours" And the honest players get the shaft.

Oh well, I still get a huge smile everytime I beat them to a claim or "accidentally" MPK a levelling spree. (Easy to do, link some mobs they are XPing on, they will almost always try to grab all of them off you and wipe, its hilarious)

Someone posted a thread on the main forum about how to spot RMT and even MPK them ... sounds kinda fun, IMO... too bad I don't have time waste with that kind of stuff.

/nudge all you with more free time than me though. ^^

I'm in TEMPLAR, and I assure you I'm not a gilseller. I did notice that there are six members always in a party, and always on when I am. They also have a PL and they are always all in the same area. However, most members are just people looking to play the game and are usually fairly talkative, using actual sentences.

The people always in the party never say a word.

Because they are bots/multibox PCs?

Anyone who has ever been in a static knows how hard it is to party together more then a few days a week. But you guys are together 7 days a week. No member of your LS has EVER been seen outside of his static party. No farming of silk or behive chips.. nothing.

In the last week I have seen different templar static parties in crawlers nest, Quifim, Garlaige. You log in as a team and log out as a team.

If they are all real people, why do party members take up to 30 seconds to engage a mob brought in by the puller? Actually they all engage at the exact same time but they make no effort to face the mob.

The tank will stand there taking a beating, sometimes even dying, and each member turns to engage one at a time. Only the active puller and one active player at camp ever talk.

In magic burst parties it is a different story. The mages are PERFECTLY synchronized with their nukes... They are still slow to engage but when they do they move, they act as a perfect mirror image of each other. Do you guys actually run a manaburn script on your XP bots?

I will admit that when you do try to talk to members of the LS, they eventually get back to you. This is the most interactive group of gilseller/character farming teams I have ever seen. But they all use the same grammer and punctuation faults as each other.

Badgirl will ALWAYS put a space before punctuation in any sentance. Coincidently every member of "her" party makes the same grammer error.

"Why you say that ?" Note the space before the question mark. This is her trademark.

Overall every NA in every XP zone can be heard shouting "Don't raise them!" every time one of the Templar parties wipes. 100% of NA players believe you guys are gil sellers. But to be honest I am impressed you try to claim otherwise in game and in the forums. This is a first.

Uhh... as I stated before I did notice one group of people (That's seven people with PL) that are always in a static. Now, Badgirl may be in a static alot, but at the current time she isn't. I'm not saying they're not gilsellers, I'm just saying that most of the LS are just people playing the game. The leaders just gave everyone they saw a pearl to get the linkshell started, and they just so happened to give pearls to those people.

Okay, we looked into it and have kicked several members who have been suspected of being gilsellers and/or bots.

Back in town...

Wow, that explains a lot. Giving pearls to random low level players, and some of them falling into the hands of gil sellers or XP botters.

I was wondering how you spoke functional english, yet still had people like badgirl in the LS... lol. I hadn't encountered any of your honest players who play the game normally and communicate like human beings. No wonder I was confused :O

Glad to hear you are weeding out the RMT infection from your LS ^^

Ohh I don't believe my luck...

Was invited to a party on my BLM in qufim... LS name is "Friend". There were 3 bst with L7 leather gear, with high level anon rdm PL. PL has plain AF bare bones gear.

They invite me then they want to go to Kazham "Need 300 XP kill KAZHAM " is the only answer. Party is 21 to 25 >.> tank is L.21. He died 4 times while still in qufim. The PL was hoepless and obviously controlled by the same BST who invited me and didnt engage in most fights.

I ask "Chinese?" I get a yes.

I almost wish SE would stop deleting gilseller accounts. Sure they ***** people over at cassie and Serket, but by deleting them that just makes 500 more asian sweatshop kids level up 4000 more characters and ruin every XP spot in the game.

So Templar apparently is no longer RMT LS, but now "Friend" is... I can't keep up lol.

Although gil selling is against the TOS, I blame the "legit players" more than the GS themselves why there are GS. And hell yeah, whenever someone condemn players themselves for this, a lot will just ignore them.

Not all notorious GS are chinese, I really believe a lot of gil selling activity is also by "legit" super rich players, who has nothing better than do.

I really dare any LS leaders to be able to confront their own LS members in buying gil. I even know some people who buy gil in my friend list and in my LSs, I doubt I will be able to confront them without starting big dramas.
