Sometimes bad things happed when people sell their accountFollow

Wow...What an a**. That kinda makes me wanna get back my emporer hairpin that I loaned to a friend and he's been using it for a pretty long while now >.>

I'm well aware of that. It's not the loss of two astrals that really gets me. I know I lent them to her and I really can't get em back but this post isn't about getting them back.

This is a reminder to be careful of your actions and be weary of people that you think you can trust.

I've already bought two new astrals, but it's the principal of the matter. If you look at the messages, the last few are from the "new" myori who said she'd get them back, probably trying to cover up that she bought the account.

Point of the matter is I'm upset. Not for loss of the items but:

1) I've lost a friend. Myori and I were really good friends and enjoyed talking to each other. Now there's an imposter out there ignoring everyone.

2) If you say you're going to to something I take that as you giving me your word and that should be upheld. If I give someone my word then I intend to keep it, no matter the cost.

So once again, play safe, think twice about who you give your stuff to, and have fun playing FF. It's only a game - please remember this :)

I'm about as positive as a can be without hard proof. I've had 3 people confirm that the original myori sold her account. It's not the same person at the keyboard anymore.

Yeah we're talking about the WHM myori. I know the original myo would never do anything like this, that is why it's so upsetting to have so see the name myori walk by and know that that character is no longer your friend.

Accounts should never be sold. A person goes through their vanadiel life making friends and building a reputation and then all of a sudden someone with a lot of cash and little time comes along and assumes the role of that person and tarnishes their good reputation, or worse, abuses it.

also:

It's against the TOS to sell accounts. In fact it is also against TOS to "bot" another account (ie log into some other people account). I actually admit that I have logged into a different person's account before, and it is a fairly common practice among other players. But I will never sell/buy an account.

First, Myori has always been a 17 y/o guy. :/ Manthra as we all love to call them. He has several ther characters with other names in the past as well.... his pic and the names are up on FFXI players.

I had the great PERSONAL displeasure of being in LS with him for a while, when he was with VF. While with us, he claimed to have had his account "hacked" and all his gear stolen or dropped. So VF helped him get back AF, gave him gil (hell I even gave him gil out of my own pocket) and camped NM's, etc to help him get his WHM back up and going. After we got him tons of stuff back, he then decided that VF wasn't for him and that he didn't like some of the people in it and just up and left one day. Oh!!! And he also thought that VF should just GIVE him a cloth drop for his noble's (or buy him one)... HA! He is such a funny one... LOL...

He and I bumped heads one day a few months back when he got himself killed in Kuftal as WHM/NIN. He sent me /tells begging me for a Raise since he obviously has no one in his many LS's or any friends that would give him one. So I R2 him (WHM only 63 here...) he gets up surrounded by crabs, and he asks me to sneak and heal him.

<dramatic pause so people can realize how dumb his request was...>

He got mad when I laughed and told him no and he then proceeded to call me names and insult me. I was like, dude... you're a WHM first off - sneak and cure yourself, you're not in party with me second so I can't sneak you anyways, and third you are an idiot for soloing crabs as a WHM here.

So then a couple weeks ago I found he flamed me on Killing Ifrit (on a "Who is on your Blist?" thread, where he called me "stupid" I believe...), which was just funny to me and those that know me. Now here is where it gets even funnier!! About 2-3 days later a LS mate sends me a tell saying that Myori wants back into VF!!! That he was begging her to talk to me to get him back in. I was like... "Umm... no". So then I get /tells from HIM DIRECTLY begging to let him back in, to which I refer him to the KI thread HE MADE, his bad way of leaving VF and his just being a dumb kid. I screen shotted that convo since it struck me funny. Told him to re-blist me too.

Oh and Lex... he BEGGED me relentlessly to borrow my 2 Astrals and I always refused, but lent them to people I did trust. Sorry to hear about your loss... v.v;; And do you all see (by the dates on Lex's pics...) that the "old" Myo is the one that sold this stuff!! Those were from last October when he told Lexx that he sold them w/o permission. He is such a good friend. Actually, you know.... I will have to look into the dates more, but that was also arount hte time when he told me and my LS that his account was hacked and all his gear was stolen. I think the "hack" happened a bit later though. In December I wanna say, or maybe January. I will look into it more and send you a PM Lex if I find anything more out.

As of a few weeks ago, I hate to tell ya, it was STILL the old Myo (the 17 y/o boy). Because he brought up people from my LS that he disliked back last fall and such in the conversation we had.

I am now wondering... is the Myo that has the account now the same that sold your rings (that you knew and trusted)? If so, it is the same guy that still has the account. Unless he sold the account within the last 2-3 weeks... because he argued with me about getting back into my LS citing things from last fall just a couple weeks ago. If you knew it was this 17 y/o guy that sold your rings in the first place, then it's still him and he's just being a sneaky liar and a real jerk to you.

I am not gonna make you feel worse, but why was it "OK" that he sold them without your permission in the first place?? Those haven't been cheap or easy to come by ever and I would be very upset if someone I trusted sold mine without permission. :/ I would never sell someone else's stuff without their ASKING me to do it in the first place. It wasn't mine to sell, just as those rings were never Myo's to sell. Just my two cents.

Also, Myori posts frequently on Killing Ifrit (and trolls alot there too) so you may want to try and contact him there. He posts under the name: "MyoMyo". GL and let us know how this goes. I will keep an eye out as well and like I said before, drop you a PM if I have any relevent info.

lolol, what kind of horsesh*t is this? Those 'screenshots' are just dumb because i don't recall ever saying any of that. And to answer the thread topic, No this isn't a boughten account. I don't see how people can easily falsely accuse someone of selling their account. You can ask/call all of the friends that know i play this game and they will tell you that i'm the one that created this account.

I've been playing since August of 2004 and i've known a few people that still play from back then. I'm getting pretty tired of this 'you stole my astral' sh*t lexxa. I've had multiple people tell me that i took it because you said so but i doubt your word is as honest as your reputation. Oh and by the way, good job on photoshopping those screenshots, i might have to send you a tell one of these days so i can pretend someone stole my stuff and have you change around the picture so i can get some free stuff ^^

p.s. i was with my friends last night, richardB and shippo riding the ship between mhaura and selbina for those pirates and they let me borrow their Kclub for the killings, oknp yeah i borrowed it but did i give it back?



YES. lol because i'm not a thief (go ahead and quote nixon on that one), never have and never will steal ^.')b and i don't have a beef with anyone (except those gilsellers which i rightfully mpked with phrosty a month ago or so in sky).

As they say, the proof is in the pudding. Those screenshots show you're trash. The truly amusing thing is when someone finds out their name is being dragged through the mud the first thing they do is say call X person I'll even give you the number etc. Thieves are even worse than the gilsellers, at least you know they're out to ***** you over. Enjoy your reputation.
