DRK Maat fight easier than RDMs?Follow

My opinion- This belongs in the jobs forums :P

many people say rdm maat is most difficult maat out there, so i guess DRK is easier, i did whm maat so i can't really say... lol

but yea, job forum would prolly give you a better info on this.

DRK Maat is probably easier, I have no experience with him as DRK or RDM, but I have heard horror stories about him from my RDM friends.

Well from a RDM who beat Maat - but only as RDM - I can tell you, RDM Maat is VERY hard. People can try to downplay it, but it's hard as hell. Day and time effects it, level effects it, whether your Enfeebling and Elemental Magic are capped greatly effects it. Gear effects it. Being prepared (which includes Meds, Macro's, etc....) is vital. Plus there are different methods that everyone touts as "the way to beat RDM Maat" you have to deal with. You can sleep/nuke, or you can straight nuke, or you can... everyone says they won it different. Some people gravity and bind and silence. I used none of those and just straight up slept and nuked. All I can say is I was 1/5 (first try I was retarded and tried at 67, no buffs, no meds, no macros, etc... so although I count that in my 5, I don't count that as a "REAL" attempt.)

So, IMO.... RDM Maat is the true test of a RDM. If you can't beat him as RDM you may want to work harder or change jobs. (A lot of people go WHM or BLM to beat Maat that way.) He is very hard as RDM, but once you beat him you feel as if a million pounds has been lifted from your shoulders. I can pretty much say, I feel almost as if I never have to fight him again cause i beat him at the hardest fight. LOL!! (But I probably will fight him again soon on WHM just to kick his old a$$ again!)
