Anyone wanna share their farming spots and tips with me? I have a 67war at my disposal to go farm with so.....what would be my best options?

*sigh* Des.... Why do so many monks put their gaming life on hold for those damn kote. Fed. Kote until AF. You'll do just fine. LoL.

Yeah, leet is right. I wore Federation Tekko for the LONGEST time on my SAM. I didn't get O.Kote until I was like 65+ (which was dumb, but w/e lol). Now they work well on my NIN :p

I honestly used Battle Gloves until AF. And after AF.. Temple Gloves > O.Kote imo. I've used O.Kote on MNK before and wasn't impressed. I'll use it for 40cap BCNM just because I have them now (loaners LoL), but that's about it. I use them religiously on my SAM though (which I think they are best suited for).

- Got NIN from 42-46
- Hit 63 on PLD (gotta get my Jelly Ring)
- Got a friend an Eldieme (sp?) key
- Cleaned out my mules and sold a bunch of stuff I have no need for but didn't want to part with.

Doing Bastok 7-1, maybe 7-2 today, couldn't get everyone together this weekend so why not bail on work?

Congratulations on Law School Ntxen.

And my opinion on O.Kote, with NIN, I honestly have not noticed a huge difference in the O.Kote and the Tekko regarding my ACC or DMG. I stick with Tekko on IT+ and up, and O.Kote on VT/IT when I have good support. The MNK in my PLD SP used them (gotta love LS sharing) last night but not sure of the results right now.

Hey leet,

Since I don't play much anymore, think you'd want to borrow a Haub +1 at 59? :P Only condition is to give it back if I log on and need it. XD

I did that too with Des but the problem is that I honestly got to see a difference with them on when I was allowed to borrow them for a week. Each punch did an average of 7 - 10 more dmg. If fights took long like say....over 2 or 3 mins they greatly added to my DoT anywhere from 100 to 300+. This is what I think they are ideal for (long fights) and honestly, I don't end up in too many PTs that go over 3-4 chain. Hell, the highest chain I ever been in was 7 or 8.

I'm not one to consider anyone gimp if they don't have them. As a matter of fact I don't think they are all that important but I do know that they are definetly an improvement. O.Kotes are just one of those things I never got to get when I was on Des.

I guess I want to get those things I was never able to get while I was on Des...

-Brown Belt (damn Malborough)
-O.Kotes

I prioritize Brown Belt over the O.Kotes and I already have 2 Snipers and a Jujitsu Gi. You guys are right though...

I shouldn't stop leveling because of those. I thought maybe I should since I have a 68WAR/THF to farm with. Hell with it...I'll get them when I can :D

Ummm. if you have jujitsu and 2x sniper, go battle gloves and eat attack food foo! LoL.

I never owned a snipers, never truely owned o.kote (I'm borrowing LoL), did get jujitsu though. LoL. I'm a budget monk and I think I do it well. LoL.

Brown Belt is the best piece of equipment a monk can have at that level. If I get wind of Molborger's ToD, I'll let you know.

Man if you're serious that would be awesome. I'm sitting here trying to figure out how the f00k I'm going to get the gil for a hauby. LoL. Those f'n things are expensive. ><

I did, however, just get my Jaridah Peti for 55, but it's not really good enough to replace hauby. ; ; The SAM comes back out tonight! :-D

I'll let you know when I get close. Thanks, bro!!!!

There isn't anything out there that is "better" then a haub. (Shura Togi maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe).

NP man, I figure better let someone get some use out of it. It's a [Geno] Haub +1 too :p

Please PLEASE let me know....anyone! I'm guessing the ToD will be sometime in the middle of the morning for me though so...I guess the weekend is the only time I'll get to do it.

I'm sure everyone has a Love/Hate thing when it comes to FFXI.
24/48 hour spawn times are among one of the top of the things I can't stand.

Anyways to keep this on topic and although is not the weekend anymore I called in sick yesterday so I had the day off (sort of a weekend >_<...and yes I realy am sick) and got MNK to 35 with only 800tnl to 36 :D

Well, today is Thursday, so as requested by Amanada, I'm going to level my RDM =X just hope he's got us a good party set up ;)

Friday - Week off! [/hurray] Over the course of this week, I'll probably catch up on college work, hang out with friends, and then at night play FF until the early hours, then do it all again =p

But, need to include looking for a job under my list of things to do, I was fired a few months back (still waiting on an ACTUAL reason why, instead of "you aren't right for this job" People are idiots.)

I have been home for only a few hours this week. I stopped in for some assaults and that was it. I am falling very behind in game these past few weeks due to RL stuff. Plus NHL playoffs are on >.>

Summer = beer and I have been drinking and sitting around the fire every night (unless the Oilers were playing).

Anyhow, weekend plans:

FRI: Work, then watch X3. Then late night FFXI. Monk merits if possible.

SAT: Meeting with a realtor about some warehouse lofts/condos. But with interest rates shooting up and the absurd spike in condo prices recently, I may hold off on buying my luxury loft for another year >.< Buying the place is one thing, but I want another $50,000 on hand to renovate and build a nice kitchen. Saving up for another year seems to be the thing to do if I want to buy exactly what I am looking for.

Sat night: FFXI if I am home. It looks like rain and all my friends are tired and poor after the long weekend last week.

Sunday: Sleep.

I want to get past the first round of assault this weekend, at long last. I have 4/5 beaten and have numerous repeat wins on lebros and the worms. I heard other people progressed without beating the 5th, but I am having no luck.

I have been craving an old school KRT party lately... I love the new areas but I miss my skeleton marathons ; ;
