I'm still kind of interested in joining. I plan on leaving my current LS "HellsAngels" due to some future problems with a new member. <-<; Sadly I'm on pretty damn late and can never seem to find someone with a pearlsack. =\

I havent seen any of your pearl sack holders on lately :/ i get on from 8 a.m to 4 p.m mainly from monday, wed-friday eastern time. You know of any pearl sack holder that can get on between those times to give me a pearl tommorow?

Bumpity bump bump! I just realized I hadn't said anything on this thread yet - for shame!!! Anyways big welcomes to all our new members! ClanD has been around for a long time and we are always open to new people regardless of level. I am also a sackholder so if you need a pearl /tell. It doesn't matter to us if you play every day or once a month. Woot!!!

Hi, I'm a newb to Vana'diel, looking for a good Linkshell, and you guys look about right but I've got a few questions, or perhaps special needs would be a better term. I want to be sure that you guys would be okay with me before I officially request membership.
First of all, I'm kind of shy. I tense up whenever anyone speeks to me in the game, although usually if we converse for more than a few sentences I relax. However i'm still not one to initiate conversation usually. Because of this most of my MMo life has been soloing, not the best way to play any MMO. I want to be different, but for now I'm still a recluse of sorts, and very used to grouping. I duo with my brother, but I'm not used to working with other people (but I want to.) And I fully understand partying is a must here, that's part of the reason I chose to stick with FFXI after MMO hopping for a while, it will force me to come out of my shell.
On a related note, me and my brother both play and we usually like to do things together as much as possible. Which means I will always try to keep at least one job of mine near at least one job of his in level, and when we're both on we would prefer to party together. Might not be an issue but I thought I'd mention it.
Third, and most important to me, I like being able to play the game. The game should be a game not a job. I don't want to have to feel obligated to play. I understand I have to give to the linkshell to get anything, and that's fine. Whatever events may be done together I'll try to show up for when applicable, but I don't want to ever feel forced to participate in a particular group or event if I don't want to. (Unless of course, there's a very good reason.)
I just want to check to make sure if I'd be welcome, given all that. I'm EST, but mostly play only a little in the evening Mon. - Thurs, more on Fri, Sat, and Sun, usually morning and afternoon to be precise. I'm never on long past 8 in the evening though.
My jobs are currently:
WAR: 11
THF: 7 (will stay there until I get WAR to 18 for subclass, THF will be my most played job at least until 30, unless I change my mind)
WHM: 3 (Want to up in preparation for BRD)
When I reach 30 I'll probably give NIN a try to, at least for a while.
Let me know if you would ahve me after all that, my in-game name if Gwynn, and my race is Mythra BTW.

Nobody is going to force you to talk or put you on the spot or anything like that

First and foremost, ClanDestine is a social linkshell. There are no mandatory events, etc. However, we do ask all members to do their part when assisting other players with things such as: Artifact Equipment, Quests, Missions, level caps, etc. We encourage everyone to be involved in the linkshell to make everyone's gaming experience more fun.
For instance, soon you will be needing to do your sub-job quest. Someone in the linkshell will definitely help you with that when you are ready. So, later on, when you are higher level, you can do the same for another starting player. Or, maybe you will help someone else with Missions that you have already completed. You get the idea.
I will be on this evening (EST) and tomorrow evening. Send me a /tell and I'll get you a pearl

mythrl you know anyone with a pearl sack that can be online at any time from 8 a.m - 4 p.m eastern time tommorow? Ive been wanting to get a pearl for this ls for quite a while now ._.; Ill be on pretty much all day tommorow because i have catching up to do so hopefully you can get someone to get me a pearl between that time period thanks.
Your best bet will be Lebron, I'm guessing.
