The way i read the discription may not be right, but it sounds like if your fighting a mob, and someone is powerleveling you, and builds up hate, you loose claim on the mob. did i read that right?

MMk.. I can shed some light on this one. LoL. My first time ever I was /assisting a friend yesterday (yeah yeah I know). If you take hate, they don't necessarily lose claim. I did, however, see one go white. It was before they had started to attack though. I remember thinking wtf? LoL. But if people were engaged, it stayed claimed. Say you provoke a mob, but don't engage, someone COULD steal hate from you by power curing.

Interesting for those NM bots huh? LoL. No longer have to watch someone get a claim on an NM and sit there for 5 minutes before engaging.

Also, disengaging is almost an instant unclaim.

usually disengaging is >.>

As for the patch, I think it only applies to untouched mobs.

IE: You're fighting a mob and do a AoE weaponskill cause you think the area is clear... Sadly, you catch one mob in the AoE and just can't get to it yet. Before the patch, a player could run up and range attack the link, claim it and run away leaving the mob claimed and attacking you. Meanwhile, you've finished off your mob and are being pelted by someone else's and you can't do anything but cure (which draws more hate). Now, if that player uses range attack but misses, or does not do enough damage to get the mobs hate off of you, then the mob will not go claimed so you can still fight it if it's there pelting on you.

You should not loose claims of mobs you're fighting because someone steals hate.
